I had to repaint a photograph into photoshop for my class, so I thought id show you guys. . so, none of the original image is involved here at all.

Errr...Do you mean to say that you painted the first image in photoshop and didn't just add afilter? Because you clearly just took the original photo and put it through the watercolour filter or suchlike. @-@;;; Unless you're some almighty art God whom we should all be bowing to. It's just that her face is slightly pixellated yet photographic compared to everything else...which leads me to believe it's just a filter. Heck i've been doing digital art for 3 years but I couldn't re-create a photo with such accuracy using freehand alone.

Anyway - Your colourisations are lovely, especially the last one ^^

it isnt a filter, A filter would look more chiseled. Its the art history brush and about 2 days of layers. the face is less pixilated then the rest because i used a smaller brush, the other brushs made it look like she was some freak, that had no face. I realize there is a filter that does this. but this was an assignment for myadvanced photoshop class, so, its not quite that easy.Trust me, if i could have justadded a filter, i would have, but accually the art history bursh is really cool. You can literly paint the picture back...and...pick the type of pain, the type of surface, etc. Its really cool, if you know what it is. I am in no way trying to fake anyone out haha....i cant draw, at ALL. I dont know how else to explain it haha. But it wasnt as easy as cliking a button! this is the watercolor filter

So you did this freehand only with a picture reference no trace or anything like that? I don;t really know photoshop at all so yea I'm a little confuzed but that is i must say amazing...

its kidna hard to explain...no i didnt draw if free hand...its called an art history brush.... i dont know how to explain it if you dont know photoshop at all. I really cant draw at all, so im not saying I can. but each part of her (face, arms, dress, shoes, background etc), is a different layer, different brush....had to mess with the colorsd a little to match the original picture....but it wasnt a filter.
