Shadow surrounds me closing in
with a desperate grasp to light
i am rejected so used to this treatment
i induce upon myself so in a lonely corner
i sit and await for my chance to be
on the outside with you
for you alone save me from the dark
but with cautious steps i walk with you
in fear of being victimized once again
we hit a bump and you let go
hanging from the edge i reach to
grab hold and save you and me from loss
i look to you and thank you for releasing me
from a hellish solitude as we reach the outside...

i know its not that great and it was kind of a quick thing and was originally supposed to be a song but it turned into a poem... i'd love to hear some comments on it... thanks

Untitled Poem
From dark you brought me your light
a warm embrace that is wider than space
a love so strong without it i wouldnt be the same
when even the smallest things seem so great
life seems so bright now that your here
i have no fears no doubts no pain

my dear you are when you are with me
the rest of the world just washes away
a day without you would be like an infinity
so dont you see?
that you are my everything
my every breath, my every heart beat
without you i would not be..

and i know now that you feel the same
for in every glimpse into your eyes
i see the love from you is eternal
as is mine forever together bound as one
we are everything

this was writin a few hours ago... any opinions??

Here's another one...

"Watchful Eyes"
It's so simple to watch, as everything falls
but it takes alot to reach out to help
never knowing what could happen
yet we try and try again
never knowing the consequences of
what we assume to be good deeds
but to others are they foul?
Sometimes its like we're floating outside a bubble
and we cant help
so we watch with eyes of curiosity
as the self destructive habits continue
never knowing what to do or how to help
so we watch with eys of fear
wondering
are we to blame?

well i appreciate the positive feedback!! makes me wanna write more and actually keep the original writings... i always through them away

thats silly, but i did the same i had a notebook full of them and just random writting, but i once i typed the better ones into my old thread i just got rid of the book.
im trying to keep my new ones, im sure they will one day mean something to me, to look back on and think about
