Interesting that "I Kissed a Girl" is getting so much flak for its content, but I haven't heard any uproar about "UR so Gay". I would expect that would be a much more controversial song...

But anyway, "I Kissed a Girl" has a sick beat. It's catchy. I like it. Do I think that it's neccessarily the most appropriate song to play it on a station that young girls listen to? Maybe not. The video is hot - girl cleans up well. They did a great job of just riding the line between cliche girl-on-girl gratuity and just using the allusion of it. Thank God she didn't go and have a full on make out session in the video. It would have totally cheapened it.
I'm interested to see what else this girl can sing about.

I actually like her, she's cool.

That song, "I kissed a girl" is so being over played
here, its not even funny.
But I like her, I'm actually going to be buying her album!

I heard her for the first time on TV this morning, it was that I Kissed A Girl song and I didn't like it. It was the first time I have heard it, mind, so it's possible it will grow on me, but my first impression was to think why people like the song.
The content wasn't something I'd be concerned about. The lyrics are fairly easy and simply to hear when she sings which is good.
I'll see how she goes. If she's on YouTube I'll check out a few more songs and see if I like something else.

She sounds a lot like some other singer, but I can't think who, just that she is similiar in style to another artist...

I love Katy Perry.Her cd One of The Boys is very good.When I bought it at HMV on Thursday I got a free poster with it.The album is hard to describe for some reason.She reminds me of Pink alittle.
