Wow, I hadn't heard anything about this. I loved the show when I was a kid...Knight Rider, Dukes of Hazzard, Fall Guy, A-Team, Magnum P.I. lol...loved them! Let's hope this ends up better than the Dukes of Hazzard movie, which wasn't that bad really but wasn't that good either

aww i loved that show, i wasnt even born when it started. i was born in the last season of it i think, but i discovered it on tv. i was so obsessed with it, and almost nobody knew what it was at my school...i was so disappointed in them lol.

I couldn't really get into Knight Rider when it was on - I tried, but it just didn't really interest me all that much. Then again, I didn't watch Dukes of Hazard when it was on, but I really enjoyed the movie that just came out. I wouldn't have went but my boyfriend dragged me, and I really enjoyed it. Glad he talked me into going.

I hope they have William Daniels be the voice of K.I.T.T again. Afterall he was the voice in the series and in Knight rider 2000. I hope they also make K.I.T.T like he was in the series not a red Dodge Stealth (which he ended up being in Knight rider 2000 because the trans am body was disassembled and the parts were sold and one chip was put into the brain of a cop without knowing what kind of a chip it really was)or at least a black Dodge Stealth. Red didn't suit K.I.T.T. I think the car was meant to be black so it wouldn't be spotted at night. I also think they need to have Bonnie in this movie as well as some of the bad guys from the series. The last episode was like a normal one and then the public was told the series was done. I think it left the producer of the series Glen Larson room for movies and more improvements. Goliath and K.A.R.R were awsome especially the second time.

I hope they will be smart and release this movie at a good time of the year when a lot of people can see it

I am amazed at how many people didn't know about this new movie and the convention. I am getting more psyched about the new knight rider movie especially since the producer of the original series is serving as excutive producer of the movie and writting the script. I am checking IMDB.com almost every day hoping to see new names appear under the cast section. David Hasselhoff is suppose to be a judge on a new reality show on NBC called America's got talent. He will also be in the new movie Click with Adam Sandler.Feel free to post any knight rider links you find interesting here.

I am surprised at how low key this movie is. I haven't heard a word about it and I had to do a lot of searching to find any info on it at all. I haven't seen any updates yet but I am checking the sites alot.

I wish I could go to the convention in Dayton,Ohio but college will be starting for me that week. I told one of my coworkers who is a knight rider fan and is building a car said he would go no matter what and he promised to try and bring us back something. I personally loved the series and I am happy they are doing what they can to bring this classic to a whole new generation.

I would love to hear what everyone who looks at this link has to say. I won't bite or laugh at anyone. It makes me sad many of the classic tv shows aren't remembered that much and younger generations have no idea about this show, but it is a good chance for Glen Larson to open up his masterpiece to a whole new generation and it can bring kids and their parents together like it did with Star Wars. I am eagerly waiting for updates on the sites in the first post in this thread.

One thing is for sure once I purchased all four seasons of Knight rider things made a lot more sense about the series. I had heard a few times in the series about him almost dying and that he was a cop and he had to be given a new identity, but they never went into many details later int he series. Then I saw the pilot episode knight of the phoenix and it made sense.

I was just looking at the convention website for the Knight Rider convention in Dayton Ohio. All I could think of was how neat it would be to meet stars from the show and see a lot of K.I.T.T look alikes. It isn't everyday you get to meet stars from a show.

what episodes does everyone like

What was everyone's favorite episode. Mine had to be the pilot episode during the part where he sits in K.I.T.T for the first time and he says "What is this Darth Vader's bathroom?" Another one I liked was where they went up a big semi called Goliath, and K.I.T.T was just funny during the episode where they were at a ranch and he had to heard a bull. My all time favorite ones though were when they went up against K.A.R.R (both times) and Goliath (both times).

K.I.T.T always had a sense of humor when you least expected it and so did some of the other people in the show. I liked the second season but it wasn't the same without Bonnie.

Film sounds alright, I never watched the show though... but the Hoff better do an appearance.

I agree he was the original Michael Knight it just wouldn't be the same without him playing that role again. I am also glad the original creator of the show is writing the script and serving as executive producer for the movie.

the good thing about the original creator of the series writing the script and serving as executive producer is he will have control over the movie. I have a feeling we won't be disappointed. Feel free to tell me what you think.
