Knocking on doors. - EvBoard

This has gotta be THE MOST stupidest thing I've ever thought up but I REALLY wanna know...

Whenever you DO knock, in a single "set/series" of knocks, how many times do you knock on people's doors?

This question has been bugging me for weeks. So please humor me and just answer the flippin question so I can be at peace with my miserable little self. Thanks.

it totally depends on whose door i'm knocking on. if it's a friend and i'm in a goofy mood. i'll knock alot or just knock all goofy in a rhythm or something. if it's someone i'm not totally sure about-i don't know them or something. usually just about 3 times. at work. i knock a couple times, say knock knock when i knock and enter the room.

usually 3-4. Unless I'm mad, then 7 or more.

3-4 times...sometimes in a pattern if I'm friends with the person, like TatersMomma said.

To be quite honest, I've never even really thought about it until now! I usually just knock a few times and if they don't answere I knock a few more times.

Oh boy. It's gonna totally bug you now. I've been thinking about this LITERALLY for weeks. I need waaaay better things to do with the little bit of spare time I have.

It depends what kind of mood I'm in. If I'm irritated, I usually knock really hard about 8 times, but if I'm not I'll knock about 3 or 4.
