From Korn.com:
"What's up everyone? I'm feeling great, all the emails, blogs and letters really mean a lot and have helped me recover in record time. By the way, thanks to all of you who have sent in your suggestions for the Family Values Festival area, there are some cool ideas in there.

PEACE
JD"

enyggma will become famous soon enough
Korn is a band that I recently got into. I kind of ignored them during the nineties and then a friend of mine let me hear "Untouchables". I was blown away. I had heard so much bad stuff about Korn's music that I never gave them a chance. I realize now that the bad stuff I heard were from people who considered themselves "Trooo Metallll!" I am sure you guys know the type. Anyhow so far my favorite album of theirs is "Untouchables". The most recent one was good but I felt that it lacked some of the "umph" of the earlier releases.

Korn

I never liked them around last year but when I heard the songs " Here to Stay" "Twisted Transistor" and "Freak on a Leash" I started to like them and getting some of there albums (I've got 3 right now), but I'll get them all as fast as possible. Their music are like coooooooooooool metal, now I think they're like "God of metal" truly I think they have the best headbanging songs ever, I'll always like them even when I get elderly

TTTTTTTTTTTTRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUEEEEEEE EEEEEEEEEE MMMMMMMMMMEEEEEEEEEEEEETTTTTTTTTTTTTTTAAAAAAAAAAAA AALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!

If they do stay on I want them to make lots of songs for just one album like 14-17 songs and make them as good as possible!!!

I like Korn, i'm not a huge fan though. I like their new video though, that's pretty cool.

Did anyone read about the man who died?

Quote:
Korn fan dies
3/08/2006 9:00:00 AM

Last Sunday, a fan was fatally injured at a Korn concert in Atlanta, Georgia, part of the Family Values tour. Andy Richardson, a devoted Korn fan, was in the mosh pit during supporting band the Deftones’ set with his pregnant girlfriend and young child. He allegedly remarked to a few rowdy young men jostling in the pit to be careful around his family.

The men responded aggressively, viciously striking Richardson in the head repeatedly, knocking the young father unconscious. After being kept on life support for several days he was declared dead on Tuesday. Korn are reportedly disgusted at what happened and have urged anyone with information on the incident to come forward. Sadly, it seems mosh pit hospitality is a thing of the past and Family Values were not in play here at all.

This is not the first time such an incident has occurred - at the Sydney Big Day Out in 2001, Limp Bizkit fan Jessica Michalik was also fatally injured during the headline act’s show. As Limp Bizkit and Korn have just announced they will be co-headlining a US tour (their first together since 1999), we can only hope stricter security and safety measures will be in force for the November gigs. The Back 2 Basics tour will be promoting the release of Korn’s forthcoming album, 'Take A Look in the Mirror'

Korn murderer arrested.. and more violence news
10/08/2006 9:00:00 AM

After tip-offs from witnesses, concert-goer Michael Axley has been arrested for the murder of Korn fan Andy Richardson, as reported right here early last week. Korn have released a statement, declaring "All the bands on the Family Values Tour offer their sincerest condolences and prayers to the family of 30-year-old Andy Richardson." Very sad news, but at least some sort of justice can be found for the grieving young family of Richardson.

In other rock violence news, last weekend more than a 100 fans were hurt during a surge in the crowd at a Tool concert in San Francisco. At least a dozen were hospitalised.

It’s not just the fans that are copping serious injuries. Emo pin up boys My Chemical Romance were in a violent car accident last week on their way to a gig in San Diego, dreamy lead singer Gerard Foy sustaining a broken ankle and Bob Bryar allegedly received third-degree burns. Across the Atlantic, Carl Barat (bass player for Dirty Pretty Things, the other post-Libertines ensemble) have also had a taste of pain, breaking his collarbone at a gig in Taiwan at the weekend just days before their first American tour.

It seems rock and roll is a dangerous business. Stay safe!
