Not quite as epic as I was under the impression this song was going to be, but a damn good effort all the same. Not many people can take on the big M-man and produce something decent.

Though the choir is spine-tingly, I found the opening orchestra even more so. Just on their own, before Amy's voice or the other instruments kick in. I literally shiver every time I listen to it. The lyrics are good, but not my favourite. I felt the guitar was a little out of place at some points, but I do honestly think that's due to the quality of the file I had.

Btw, live choir/orchestra when performing this live? Even if it's a one-time deal? I would die. The end.

Auggghhh... I gave in and streamed the full song on a site.

So, here's my verdict:

Lacrymosa is awesome!

I love it so much... Okay, I really can't wait for the album now. Now, I promise I will not listen to any other songs. Now to stick to my promise...

I think it would be awesome for a live choir.

Well, if this is ever a single, Im sure they'll do it for some awards show.

Cool song!! amy did it very good! if lacrymosa and CMWYS are these good, I can't imagine the rest of the album! surely it would be cooler than fallen

This song along with Cloud Nine were among the last to be "accepted" by me. (Lose Control I have to be in the mood for. Doesn't fit mine all the time--only when I'm feeling sexy <3.) My initial problem with the track was that I didn't think it was epic enough and I wasn't sure how much I liked the lyrics. I'm starting not to skip over it now, though, and even am playing it a few times in a row <3.

I love the beginning, especially how sultry she is when she sings "baby." My favorite section of the track is when it intensifies during the "not this time" up until the end. I like how she sings the "just set your guilt free, honey" a lot, along with the closing "I don't wanna hold you back now" of course.

THAT'S what was wrong with it!!! you just made me realize why i don't like it so much. Amy described it as amazing...epic...etc. it wasn't that epic.
