i'm going to agree...i didn't think it was "epic" as described. i like it, but i think its just like every other song.

i think this is the most epic song, much like Whisper was on Fallen. JMO

I was a little disappointed by how the rest of this song turned out. The trailer really mislead me, I thought it was going to be a lot more epic than it turned out...I mean it's still a good song, but the only part epic about it was the end

I think that the build-up is definitely worth it, but I was hoping for that kind of volume throughout the whole song.

I was a little disappointed that I wasn't completely blown away when I first listened to this one. I loved it, but as several of you have said, it doesn't feel epic enough. I think I finally figured out why exactly it didn't feel epic enough for me, though. I think the guitars need to be way louder when they kick in. Or everything needs to be louder when the chorus kicks in. Something like that. I now turn the volume up right before the chorus and the song sounds more epic for me. I think I'll mess with the volume in some sound editing program and make myself a new copy of the album.

So I'm not the only one! (Haha, "The Only One". I hate myself.) There is something I don't like about this choir either. I only don't really like them when they first come in, though. As the song goes on, they don't bother me. I also noticed that I don't like it when they first come in on "Your Star", as well. I think it's because they sound like they're over-doing it a little. It's like every time they start singing, they're too like, BAM I'm singing! I'd like it better if their singing style was a little more subdued.

But anyway, this song gives me goosebumps. I love how there's this build-up throughout it. Intense. And the strings and piano, just...death. And Terry's solo makes me want to cry. It's so beautiful. :*) "Grieving the things I can't repair and willing..." God, something about the way she sings that just makes my heart feel all light. Like something's being lifted off my chest. That is so cool. And I love how everything feels like it falls into chaos right after "my love wasn't enough". Dang, writing song reviews is good. I like this song even more now after writing about it.

This song is SOO great. Everyone were witing for more epic one, because of the clip of it. There the end sounded so epic. But I'm not dissapointed with this. It's wonderful.


I like this part of this the most (and the chorus too). It's clearly about Shaun again. In this part it's like she notices she's been there before and won't make the same mistakes this time (It's pretty clear). I like it when it starts like there was gonna be completely different bridge, but it's like she woke up in the middle of writing. It was probably written to sound like that. She's done all she could.
