His (Andi) "re-occuring accent" would be because the band members are native Italians. You can here Cristina's accent too at times. When I first got into LC, I didn't really appreciate Andi's vocals much either, but it kind of grows on you. There are quite a number of songs with only Cristina's vocals and/or background vocals from Andi though so you could always check those out. A few of those, along with Heaven's A Lie, are what first got me into the band, and then I moved on to the rest.

Oh well, I like Andrea's voice... I've thought to tell to a band in my town to play the songs where he sings a lot (they don't have a female singer).

Btw... In a video (the one from Milano from the Amy Pic Thread) the journalist tell Ben that, in Italy and although Ben doesn't (didn't, smif) sing, Amy and Ben are compared to Cristina and Andi.... Mmmm...

I was gone all weekend at a soccer tournament (2nd place in the state baby!) and visited my very first Tower Records... I'm sheltered, I know.

Anyway I fell in love with the place because they had EVERY Lacuna Coil CD. Except the EP. And they had the re-release! So I got it! YAY! I'm so excited because I was pretty sure I wasn't gonna get my hands on a copy. And it was $9.99. Can't beat that.

Then I found the free promo CD at Hot Topic and also the new Amy poster and got all freaky-excited. And to think I only had to drive 11 hours round trip to see this stuff.

If you get the re-release, DON'T do what I did and break the inner case within 1 hour of purchasing. It's really fragile.

Andrea's voice offsets Cristina's very nicely in my opinion. I especially love the songs where they harmonize together.. i.e. "Wave of Anguish." But yeah.. like everyone else said there's a bunch of songs without Andrea.

That "guys'" voice is Andrea, and he has been with the band since the beginning.

Leave him alone, he's part of the band and always will be. I personally like how he contrasts with her vocals.

Agree with Morbid Angel. I love Cristina's voice and how it's very melodic, but then when Andrea begins to sing he always brings in this rougher, metal sound and it's unbelievable how they can pull it off so beautifully. To take Andrea's voice away would be losing much from the song.

I just met Lacuna Coil on May 11th. They are one of my favorite bands!! Ever since my friend told me about them and I heard the song circle I have loved them and went out right away to buy the Comalies CD and a few weeks ago bought one of there older ones- In a Reverie~ awesome CDs! ..Still need to get unleased memories tho...Ok done obsessing...

Yep, I agree completely.

In the beginning I found it hard to adjust to his voice in comparison with Cristina's, but after a few listens of each song you really appreciate the difference that each voice offers to the song
