Actually, it's not my opinion...It's fact, as proven by several independant studies recently released that all seem to agree that you have shitty music taste.

Also...Seether? You've got to be kidding. Flyleaf is like an ear massage compared with that shit.

You'll have to look for it on Google...I lost the link to it.

Also, I'm very proud of you. The first step to suckass music taste recovery is recognizing you have a problem. Bravo.

Downloaded KC. I'm so glad I didn't wait to buy it cuz the album... it's not shitty, it's just boring. For the first time in my life I can't notice any difference among the songs on an album. I only liked the cover of Enjoy The Silence. Maybe there's something wrong with me since everybody loves this CD.

But I did see one good thing in the album. I'd never felt that much love for Fallen before listening to it right after KC.

Ok, so here is what I think. I could not put my finger on what it was about the cd that just didn't click for me until I heard "Without Fear." That song is what LC used to be all about and now they have definitely gone into a new direction. It's not a bad one, but one I will have to get used to. Is it just me or does it sound like they have worked with H.I.M.? This thought sunk even deeper into me after listening to the cover of "Enjoy The Silence."

Best track for me would have to be Devoted. Forgot to mention In Visible Light, great song--love the strings.

I'm not disappointed though, I'd give Karmacode a 7/10.

Karmacode is blah, just blah. Not bad, not great. Typical LC sound...Some of the songs remind me of another band...but I can't put my finger on it right now. I just feel like the songs were missing something, like they all needed just a little kick.

I honestly feel like I just heard the same song a few times in a row. Some interesting stuff, like the beginning of "To the Edge" (which has almost the same sound as "Devoted"), and the guitar in "You Create" (which is just an intro to "What I See"). It's like listening to Comalies, but with different lyrics. Almost every portion of every song I was like "that sounds like (insert previous LC song here)".

Oceanic, something about "Closer" does sound like H.I.M.

Being a huge Depech Mode fan, I was not overjoyed with "Enjoy the Slience". It's decent.

If I listen to it a few more times, I'll be able to give it a better review. But for now, I'm not terribly impressed. I made it through the whole CD without cringing, which is good, because it means all of the songs are passable. But I kept waiting for it to take off, and it didn't.

Amen to the following, completely forgot to mention that.

I don't want to be disrespectful, but it seems like this album was put together in a couple of weeks. I was only impressed with the guitar work, everything else was just good. There are no memorable lyrics whatsoever, maybe once I can read them or something, but nothing I heard stayed with me. Also, I noticed that songs like Fragile, Our Truth and some others, have long "outros," I'm thinking this was done as a filler effect to a cd that's just way too short with or without doing this.

And like you said, LadyJo80, the songs sound too similar, they bleed into eachother to some extent. I feel like they had an idea and it was simply underdeveloped, thus taking away from it as a whole.

I've heard much worse though, so even with everything I'm complaining about, it's still not bad.
