So, I just went over to ticketmaster and the only date that they had up has been cancelled. wonder what happened...

this is....worrying me. i was so excited to see them. I have been wanting to see them since i first got into ev in early 2003 and every time they have been here i always have to miss for some reason.

I tried to like Lacuna Coil... I really did. For a while, I said I did like them, but I think I only said that because I thought I should like them, with all the comparisons to Evanescence and all.

But the truth is, they just don't do it for me. I had listened to some of their older stuff online, and couldn't really even understand what Christina was singing half the time. Then when Karmacode was released, I went out and bought it, hoping to be amazed, but I wasn't. The single "Our Truth" definately grew on me alot, but other than that, I wasn't blown away at all. The whole middle-eastern vibe was definately cool and beautiful, but the lyrics left alot to be desired, and I thought Christina Scabbia did have a pretty nice voice but they drowned it out in the music.

After all the buzz I had heard about this band, I had expected more.

The CD was mixed by Ronald Prent (RAMMSTEIN, H.I.M., IRON MAIDEN) and mastered by Darcy Proper (STEELY DAN, PORCUPINE TREE, R.E.M.) at Galaxy Studios in Belgium. The follow-up to 2002's "Comalies" debuted at No. 28 and spent eight weeks on The Billboard 200 chart. It has sold nearly 140,000 copies in the United States so far, according to Nielsen SoundScan.

I guess it's sort of good news. The headlining tour is only postponed and we can another chance to see them opening.
