I'd like to know if it's gonna take them less than a year to come back to England...They played 27th Dec, but before that I think the last one was halloween the year before. Not sure, I'm not a pro in these matters...

They have some goood stuff! they have a sound similar to ev.. but not quite.. love it! for those of you who are having trouble finding the cd.. check target.. they carry it

one, no one's down grading their success.. they too are an awesome band. 2 they are pretty similar, but not exactly.. the obvious- female led band, and some of the hooks sound similar... *did she say some?.. o my god.. she did!* no one is saying they are the exact same, b/c they're not! I think that Ev and Lacuna do have some fairly comment elements, harder edged rock with female vocals, but I think that's where the similarities end, Cristina has a different tone and texture to her voice than Amy and both bands are easily distinguishable from each other.

I don't think they're that much alike at all. I'm very impressed with Lacuna Coil. My boyfriend and I don't see eye to eye musically, but when I introduced him to Lacuna Coil he was blown away! They're about the only band we agree on enough to listen to in the car.

Whoa. Way to quote an old-ass post of mine. I don't even remember when that was from... June or so?

At least you're accepting of new fans who just happened to find out about the band only recently because they HAPPENED to be mentioned on this board.... not even necessarily because of any possible similarities (and there aren't many) to Ev, but because of informed music fans on boards like this who like to mention bands they like to other people online. The only reason why I said "comparisons" was because there's a sense of "if you like band X you might like band Y as well" kind of thing.

I absolutely love both bands, for completely different reasons.
