sorry not trying to be a bitch but ignoratn ppl piss me off!
Hmm.. you're not trying to be a bitch.. and yet you call me ignorant. WOW! Choke on the contradiction and then learn how to spell.

Yes, they're awesome, but don't say that no one is down grading their success when clearly they are, which you would see if you read the article on MTV.com where they also basically called them fakes. And you also say that they aren't being compared because of the female lead singer, but really that has to be why.. A) people are that stupid and B) the music is completely different.. Lacuna Coil is gothic metal and Evanescence hard rock.. the styles are different. C) Cristina's writing style is totatlly different from Amy's.. notably so on Comalies where most of the songs do NOT contain repeated hooks. Heaven's A Lie is the most pop friendly song on that album and.. big surprise.. it's the one that gets played on the radio.

Next time.. before you call someone ignorant.. maybe you should do the required research to form an opinion such as that.

Unspoken has almost has a pop feel to it too. Perhaps it will make it as a single too.

I'm talking about here.. not crappy MTV.com and for your info.. i can spell just fine... what i cant do is get my keyboard to stop sticking..*smacks head on keyboard* but thanks for trying kiddo!

but yes, they ARE good, and there are certain simularities between them and Ev. they are not the same band.. so i do agree that ppl shouldnt be acting like they are... i dont remember if it was on this thread or one of the others but someone has the opinion that they are pretty much the same band... that one copied off the other... I highly doubt that. From interviews that i have read.. Cristina seems a lil.. moody towards ev.. but idk... maybe thats just her personality. *shrugs*

I never said anybody here was saying they were like Evanescence. MTV were the ones that pissed me off... until you called me ignorant and you're still doing it. Perhaps you can spell, but you took a cheap shot at me, so I took one back. Don't expect me to not defend myself.

Ohh you were editing as I was replying.. hmm.. yeah, they're great and actually I agree with almost the entirety of the ladder part of your statement. Cristina is actually really nice though. I've talked to her a couple times.. she's probably just upset about the comparisons.. I know for a fact she's a little weirded out by all of the attention that they're getting right now as it's never happened before... she told me that herself... so yeah

I just discovered this band also after asking Axlar who was the band in his sig. I picked up Comalies at Best Buy and downloaded some of their older stuff and I think they make good music. Yes I can see how they could be compared to Ev, mostly because of the female lead, but as mentioned before, you can easily distinguish the two. I've been listening to them for a few days now and really like a lot of thier stuff. My fav songs so far are Soul into Hades, Stars, and Unspoken.

Yeah dude, I always heard that Unleashed Memories was crap too so I never got it or listened to it.. just my Comalies and In A Reverie, but then a friend of mine got Unleashed Memories and now it's my favorite album.
