Oh, I always liked the first part of 1.19. Well I like the whole song, but you konw what the lyrics mean right? This is one of the few songs that can almost always make me cry a little. I think it's a great song. But maybe that's me.

Well, i -think- that it's a metaphor for death because "it seems to be my hour my shell has disappeared. swallow whirls of dust into my mouth." it seems to be her hour.. time for her to die because her shell has disappeared, or her will to live.. the whirls of dust are her preparing for death.. or being buried or something. i dunno.. that's how i take it. perhaps i'm wrong.

Well, I agree with ya. We could both be wrong but I just wanted to say that I LOVE the lyrics, including the beginning. Ray of light annoying as a cold breath in the eyes, water falls down, lights around are flashing...supposedly things go bright white when you die, so yeah suicide was my take on it. Well whatever, it's cool if people don't like the song, it's just I think it's a definite standout on Unleashed Memories. Along with Purify, Senzafine, Cold Heritage, A Current Obsession, and A wave of Anguish. (And of course Stars, but that's technically on the Halflife EP)

Well, I've never had a problem with the lyrics, it's more along the lines that the music never quite gelled.

Lacuna Coil are great. I'm still fairly new to them though i only heard them a few months back. My local hmv though had Comalies in stock so i brought it. They didn't have their other albums but i asked and they said their bigger stores should have them so if you live near a big hmv store thats where you can get their albums

Well I finally heard Lacuna Coil today. I listened to "Heaven's A Lie" and I really don't understand why people compare them to Evanescence. The actual music is kinda the same but Amy and the other girl's voice don't sound alike. Maybe I'm wrong though... I only heard one song. ::shrugs::

Yeah I agree. I think everyone makes comparisons because both have a female singer and write seriously good lyrics. I still think though that fans of Evanescence will like Lacuna Coil's music as well, as I do. I dont know if anyone else feels the same, but not since My Immortal has a song affected me like The Ghost Woman and the Hunter and Comalies. I just found them easy to relate to
