I finally watched House of Sand and Fog.

Description: Massoud Amir Behrani is living a lie to fulfill a dream. Once a member of the Shah of Iran's elite inner circle, he has brought his family to America to build a new life. Despite a pretense of continued affluence, he is barely making ends meet until he sees his opportunity in the auction of a house being sold for back taxes. It is a terrible mistake. Through a bureaucratic snafu, the house had been improperly seized from its rightful owner, Kathy Nicolo, a self-destructive alcoholic. The loss of her home tears away Kathy's last hope of a stable life--a life that had been nearly destroyed by addiction--and Kathy decides to fight to recover her home at any cost. Her struggle is joined by deputy sheriff Lester Burdon, who tries to take the law into his own hands to help Kathy. Ultimately the tale, itself, explores what happens when the American Dream goes terribly awry.

I loved this movie very much. It's such a sad story but this sadness is not gloomy- it's beautiful. Especially, in the way everything is shot (ocean, bridges, fog..). The actors (Ben Kingsley and Jennifer Connelly) are amazing, it wouldn't be the same without them. Plus, I really liked that the creators tried to show Iranian culture in the movie - I highly doubt Americans would behave like the Behrani family did. There are a lot of other things that make this movie a masterpiece and I strongly recommend to watch it.

Shivercide has disabled reputation

Just saw Defiance.. it's based on the true story of three Jewish brothers fleeing into the forest during WWII, where they form a community and resistance force with others who are also trying to survive.

I enjoyed it very much, almost every aspect of it was captured really well - especially the wide range of strong human emotion, it felt so strikingly real and I loved this. It's also quite an inspirational film.

I also really liked that they made all the characters have Eastern European accents like they should, and didn't just speak everything in English the entire time; one of my biggest peeves with (American) movies that take place in another country that doesn't have English as its native language is when they have all the characters speaking perfect English with either American or British accent...it's quite annoying as well as unrealistic, so I'm so glad they didn't work on ruining this one by doing the same.

And Liev Schreiber totally pwns for acting in this movie, seriously. 0_o

I just watched Knowing.

I have to say, I have never seen such a load of old shit in my entire life. The ending ruined the entire film, what complete and utter balls. My sister, myself and my mum's friend laughed hysterically for the last fifteen minutes, which were obviously meant to be really touching, but seriously.

What a load of old crap. Don't watch it, seriously, unless you want to waste two hours of your life. Or, if you are going to watch it, turn it off after the petrol station part near the end. There's no point watching beyond it, and it'll ruin the film for you if you were enjoying it up until that point.

I liked it up until the ending part.

I have the feeling that there was meant to be some kind of message in it, and I saw it, but, gawd, the end was too hilarious to be serious.

The last movie that I watched...literally an hour or so ago was Rab ne bana di Jodi...I think it means ' A match made by god'

But anyway. Hooooly crap. I found it by complete accident just by listening to random music on Youtube and watched it via Veoh....I thought it was a beautiful movie. The plot is good, the actors and actresses kicked ass like no other, the music is awesome, and I felt like dancing when the song Dance pe Chance played..XD There were a few times where I felt myself get teary eyed. Thank god it was subbed...but even so, I could sort of tell what they were saying.

I liked it so much, I found it on Amazon and bought it. 0_o

Bollywood is awesome. XD

Ghost Town. i give it 2 thumbs up.

Bertram Pincus is a man whose people skills leave much to be desired. When Pincus dies unexpectedly, but is miraculously revived after seven minutes, he wakes up to discover that he now has the annoying ability to see ghosts. Even worse, they all want something from him, particularly Frank Herlihy who pesters him into breaking up the impending marriage of his widow Gwen. That puts Pincus squarely in the middle of a triangle with spirited result.

very funny movie, a little sad but i just loved it. i can't say to much else on just go out and watch it

Just watched Matilda with my sister, I haven't seen it for years. I still love it as much as when I saw it in the cinema when it was released. Yes I am that old. Hehehe. It still makes me laugh

Hannah Montana Movie. It was funny. Katie actually liked it. And she's not much into movie movies yet. My dad laughed his ass off through it. It was pretty good.
