My mom ordered "Beowulf" on pay-per-view a few nights ago and it. was. AWESOME. I had kind of gotten an idea of what the animation looked like from the trailers and stuff, but actually watching a whole movie done that way was fascinating. Some scenes looked more real than others, but the exceedingly well-done scenes were so real I honestly couldn't tell the difference.

Besides having orgasms over the fantastic animation, I liked the story and now I actually want to read the book, lol. I definitely recommend this movie to anyone who was a fan of "300"--same sort of epic battle story (kind of); plus while "300" was real, live action, it was CGI'ed to look more comic book-ish, so Beowulf sort of reminded me of that. And aside from that, who doesn't want to watch sexy glistening muscley guys duking it out with big freaky-ass monsters?

The last movie i saw was 'Teeth' and oh my worrrd it was hillarious.
Its classed as a horror/comedy but theres nothing scary about it to be honest, well maybe for the guys

Basically its about a teenage girl, whose an active member in 'the promise' basically the ring which shows your waiting until you get married. However she is a little bit abnormal when it comes to her downstairs area.

My friend found some parts a lil graphics, but i just found it pretty funny. Too used to gore so it doesn't bother me.

This movie is one to watch with your friends >:] and you'll all have a good laugh about it, i promise :]

im really unsure on beowulf i hated 300.

i watched the virgin suicides today (old movie i know) and it was defintitly intriguing a little distrubing, but enjoyable enough. it was about this uptight family- well the parents mainly the mother was really strict religously so, their 5 daughters and the neighbourhood boys who get caught up the lives of the girls. the film starts with the youngest daughter's attempted suicide and goes from there.

I went to the movies the other day to watch Wanted, with Angelina Jolie and James Macavoy starring. I thought it was pretty good- it's worth paying the money to watch it on the big screen, because there's a lot of action and cool effects that really stand out brilliantly on a big screen. It's a movie about assassins, so you have to prepare yourself for some graphic content. Bullets ripping through heads, people being stabbed, and the occasional decaying body of a human or animal. For me, the ending was bad but that's only because one of my favorite actors did something that I wish they hadn't. For anyone else, they may love the ending. It's purely personal. I'd give it four and a half stars out of five.

The other movie that I watched two weeks ago was Get Smart. I thought it was really funny, but the plot was kind of weak. It's somewhat worth watching on the big screen to see the special effects- there is definitely a lot of action. But I wouldn't pay to watch it based on what you remember from the old television series. The humour is what carries the movie and makes it worth watching. I'd give it three stars out of five.

Wall-E. I loved that movie, it's my favorite of this year.

It's so touching and sweet, even though it has very few dialogues its message is very strong.

I saw Mamma Mia! this evening and there's nothing for it other than to say it was fucking awesome!

It's only been out here 5 days or something and it's made like £7million already. It's selling out everywhere and the cinema was almost sold out. The atmosphere in the theatres is brilliant! The film's hilarious, and I haven't stopped singing Abba songs in my head for the last three hours already...! I'd see it again, for sure!

If you see it, stay and watch the beginning of the credits. It's worth it, trust me XD

I really enjoyed this movie only i found the ending tainted the whole movie for me. i hated watching him starve to death it was way to real for me i have watched my own residents look like that but they are in their 80's plus so i found that really confronting. i also disliked that they didn't explain the whole story fully that he left his real name and contact details with the people he trusted and built a relationship with (the ones shown in the movie) however it really dragged you in the characters were created and acted out superbly.

I re-watched Across the Universe 2 days ago and it is one the best movies i have seen in a long long time. i loved every thing about it. they singing is amazing the story line well done, i liked how they tied significant events into it along with telling the story and linking in the songs. the actors were great and likeable when i have time i shall be getting out and buying it. i have already created my own soundtrack cd!

today i watched becuase i said so it was pretty good for a predictable chick flick but i was in the mood and in a desperate need for a chick flick and this filled the need very well. the acting was so-so the story line so-so but there was stuff laugh at in ints predictablity.

honeslty get out there and rent Across the Universe it was a movie that deserved a lot more attention then it got. plus jim sturgis cute in a not convential way plus accent *swoon*
