After a lot of listens to this song, I think it is absolutely breathtaking.
It doesn't belong on the album, its too personal, in a way.
And I agree, it feels like we shouldnt be listening to the song, sort of like "You" in a sense..
But I think the song is positive, their may be negative things in the song, but amy has finally started to look back on what 'that person' has done to her in the past, and is finally realising that he will never hurt her again.

I love how she says "whisper" at the beginning. It sounds like she's trying not to cry.

its just beautiful i love the song, its one of my favorites on tod, well is not in tod xD but is a bonus track on it.

I'm new to this forum (well I've been a guest for months now and only just joined!) and I just missed out on the pre-order of the album...

so I've yet to hear/find(!) 'The Last song I'm wasting On You' but from the lyrics it sounds completely amazing, I want to hear it!

I understand what you mean completely and I agree. I did say how I viewed it, but I did see other peoples views as well. So, I'm not taking any of the interpretations to the bank. But anyway. I agree with what you said. We shouldn't be saying exactly how Amy meant this song. That is for her and her alone, until and if she ever wants to explain it all. And if she never does, that's okay. It's hers.

I do, however, think it's absolutely okay to take this song in whatever way you hear it as. There is nothing wrong with individual interpretations. I've already gotten a lot from this song that most likely are not along the same lines as Amy's experiences. It inspires me in such a way that I cannot begin to describe.
