I love this song, I've cried even though I have no personal connections or whatever. &hearts; haha.

You know this song actually hit me pretty hard, even though like luckystar said, i can speak of no such experience.

But I feel that it has still managed to make me stronger and prepared for anything of the same nature that may or may not happen in my future.

I've been listening to Christina Aguilera's "hurt", (which is also another awesome song) and TLSIWOY together on loop... and I couldn't seem to stop from crying.

i've only ust downloaded this song and i love it! it should have been on the album. not that i could choose a song to swap it with lol! i dont think amy's voice has ever sounded so good. its a very beautiful song full of pure emotion. ofcourse it makes me choke up.

I think what I like the most about this beautiful song are the lyrics. They're not straight-forward at all. They're obviously intensely personal and relate to the awful situation Amy was in at the time. Some of the lyrics don't make much sense standing on their own; she changes her pronouns around and it seems to me that she jumps between her own voice and the voice of the guy who hurt her. So if you just read the lyrics you might fail to grasp some of the things she's saying. But when you hear the song, you just know. You understand everything: her anger, her hatred, her fury at herself, her sense of numbness and then triumph at the end. It all clicks and makes sense.

^ I didn't explain that very well. Hopefully someone will get what I mean!
I love this song for its refrain of 'Give up my way'; it's just so sad. And then the lyrics at the end. They're so empowered. This song definitely gives me hope.

I finally got to hear this song a few weeks ago and I absolutely love it. It's so strong and powerful. I love the ending for sure.
