Hehe, I made a thread here at Evboard about Midnattsol, you should check them out, they're very good! Interestingly, "midnattsol" is Latin for Midnight Sun....just a 'lil bit of trivia for ya there.

Does anyone know if Leaves' Eyes plan to release another single from Vinland Saga? One thing I disliked about Lovelorn was that they only released one single from it.

Midnattsol doesn't do anything for me.

When I was listening to their stuff, I was bad and I was expecting a Liv!Clone, but Carmen has a very different voice than Liv. Not that it's a bad thing (if my sister was a very famous singer, I wouldn't want to sound just like her!), I just didn't dig it as much. One thing I did really like about Midnattsol was their music (not so much the lyrics and singing). It was very nicely done, I think.

Anyway, I don't think there will be another single from Vinland Saga. I really want one, but seeing as though they didn't do it for Lovelorn... *crosses fingers*

Their both very good, but I would personally suggest start with their latest, Vinland Saga.

lol if there were 4 CDs in the store, the other two were probably the Elegy single (off their latest album) or the into your light single off their older album. Or like the special edition of Vinland Saga. Get that if you can. The limited edition of Vinland Saga has lots of cool stuff on it like making of videos, LOTSA bonus tracks, video clips, interviews etc

Oooh thanks for the hints! Next time I go to town I'll get a cd of theirs, the special edition if I can find it. Yeah I think the other things there were singles, I didn't pay that much attention, maybe I should have done

I guess it depends on how many cds they sell... but from what I've heard from their bassist Christian, Vinland Saga is selling really well so I think there are good chances for another single

Im buying their latest album because it has Norweigion Love song on it, and that song is fantastic. I love free samples.

Their latest album doesn't have Norweigian Lovesong,at least my version!
The one you are looking for is Lovelorn,this one has it!

Well, they only have 2 albums as such. And they are both excellent, both as good as each other.
Lovelorn (the album) has lots of good songs on it, and so does Vinland Saga, which has an awesome song that they released as a single called 'Elegy'.

Lol I can't decide, so just buy either (or both!) because they're a very similar style, and if you like it, just buy the other album!
