I love this band; I'm a new fan of Leaves' Eyes, I've heard Elegy and New Found Land. Liv's voice is so beautiful! Which CD of theirs would someone recommend that I buy first?

Well, if you ask me, ANY Leaves' Eyes purchase you make will be most worthy of your cash.

My personal favorite release thus far is Lovelorn. It has the perfect balance of soft and heavy, Liv's vocals are flawless in every song, and songs like "The Dream" and "Temptation" alone make the album far beyond worth it.

Really, you should get anything you can by Leaves' Eyes though. I love their Legend Land EP... "The Crossing" is excellent.

i can't but agree with sheila ANY Leaves' Eyes cd will be great for u to have it ^^

and besides, if u like Liv's voice, try her solo albums!!! or even look for the old stuff by Theatre of Tragedy or some of the great number of collaborations she's done with other bands!!!! this woman has done tons of things in her life

OK, so I finally got around to buying some of their music. I got Lovelorn from iTunes, and I really like it, especially Ocean's Way. I also bought Vinland Saga from Rasputin Records, and it's probably my favorite album by them. It's heavier than Lovelorn, I'd say, and is especially awesome. I find myself listening to Solemn Sea, like, 24/7 now.

I saw LE last night in Atlanta. Fucking awesome show (and a great way for my symphonic metal concert cherry to be popped ).

I don't have any pics from their set. The security was crazy about cameras - I was in the very front with a security guy right in front of me, I wasn't about to get my camera confiscated. They filmed the crowd a lot for their upcoming DVD, I was in at least 2 shots.
