Lets all write a song - Page 2 - EvBoard

This sounds like a fun idea. I can offer some lyrics/ lyric writing. I'm not comfortable enough with my music writing ability to offer original music, but I can definitely do original lyrics. You can take a look at my thread in Literary Arts and see if you're interested in any of the songs already posted, or if you'd like to make the lyrics a collaborative effort (since so many of us seem to be lyric writers), I'd be happy to have some input. Maybe you could do several songs so everyone can offer lyrics? What we really need, though, is musicians!! If someone writes music for a second guitar or keyboard, I might be able to help with that.

This is an awesome idea! I hope it all works out!!

Even if some of you aren't confident with your music and if you have anything at all on youtube or anywhere else, please post a link so we can tell you if it's possible to work with... would love to hear it.

Also, does any singers have the knowhow and equipment to record your own voice over the original music?

I'm a pianist and composer, I could write something and upload the sheet music, but I wouldn't be able to record it because I dont have any recording equipment.

Well Iam a pianist, I play the guitar too and I can sing, but i don't have any recording material, I also compose.

Wow there are so many creative, talented, artistic people here
on the board.
I would say, choose a song you all agree on, and each of you record a
frame of it, and edit it, and upload it in this thread, for a great result.

I think it would be just amazing!!!

I can play the guitar, but I don't have anything to record it on, or
even upload it to.

I don't have any equipment right now, but I am really hoping to
get something sooner or later.
