I was outside tonight and noticed that the tree was moving. Not just the leaves but the WHOLE THING. then I realized that the tree wasn't moving, and that the clouds were moving behind it, making it appear as if the tree was moving...

Another time me and a friend were walking to his apartment when[ I saw the most amzing yard. It was a perfectly manicured, blue yard. I started pointing out how amazing it was, and how much work when into it, when I realized it was a samll parking lot

Once I was afraid of my own shadow. It was dark outside, and the moon behind me made a sillouhette on a hill in front of me, and I thought it was a person. Yug. I felt stupid when I realized what it really was...

Last night I was at the computer and glanced to my left to look for a CD or something. Then I thought I saw someone behind me and jumped (being that I was home alone)

Turned out it was a shirt hung on the computer chair I thought it was someone's sleeve going to their hand getting ready to touch my shoulder. Oy..

But blonde moments? Damn, I've got plenty. I've talked on the phone to a friend for an hour before I realised I wasn't talking to who I thought it was. Talk about a baaad situation, I let something slip that I wasn't supposed to tell :/.

I have a few; well they're not really about me, this brunette I know who has had her fair share of blonde moments (we think she dyed her hair).

During a completely random conversation, the subject of food arises :-

Girl : "Pork sausages come from pigs, don't they?"
Friend : "Yep"
Girl : "What about hamburgers?"
Friend : "I think it's cows they make them from."
Girl : "Where do chicken burgers come from then?"

We were in stitches laughing.

Another comment she made (keeping in mind that she is Scottish) :-

"Scotland's part of England, ain't it?"

hmm blonde moments... Well one time I was looking for my sunglasses and they were on my head, another time i was looking for my car keys and they were in my hand (well that's happened more than once)! I don't know, i do stupid things every day and well i guess you could say my "blonde roots" show a lot.. even though my hair is as dark as dark can get naturally

I take an SAT prep course and yesterday one of my English teachers showed a Chinese ceramic figure of a fish and asked people what it symbolizes, since half the class is Chinese. He told us that one of the other teachers thought that it represented abundance and I said, "Yeah because there are a lot of fish and a lot of water out there!" Sometimes I just don't think before I speak. At least I got the whole class laughing.

My boyfriend makes fun of me because I think chicken and kitchen rhyme and I once said one instead of the other like "I'm in my chicken now" when I really mean kitchen.

Ok, well one day I was walking down the stairs at school.....a crowded stairwell, mind you....and I saw my friend at the bottom of the stairs, who I hadn't seen in a long, long time. I was so happy that I impulsively slid down the banister......SLID, squishing about 50 people into a wall, jumped down, and hugged her, who was not my friend at all but my Home Ec. teacher.......

And just a word.....this is an excellent idea for a thread, but I know many blondes here who might take offense at the title. Why don't you change it so it totally excludes hair color? I'm certainly not trying to sound nitpicky, but it's a sensitive issue for a lot of people.
