I LOVE the piano intro to this song. It's so mournful and almost lullabye-like at the beginning, but it gets more and more powerful. Simply beautiful.

When I first heard this song I never really took in the words, then i decided to read then while listening to it and wow this song is heartbreaking, so painful that it made me cry especially when she sings I Long to me like you, Sis
.Its extremely hard to loose someone close to you like a sibling and it amazes me how Amy puts her feelings into words, I don't think I ever could. I Love this song and Its definately one of my Favourites. Gemma xoxo |

A really beautiful and sad song, it makes me cry when she sings this: you're not alone, no matter what they told you, you're not alone, I'll be right beside you forever more, I long to be like you sis, lie cold in the ground like you did" it's so emotional , I guess it's hard to lose someone you loved so much, specially when you're too young, I lost my fish long ago and I still cry
haha! anyway, amazing song!

okay I just saw a "rehersal" of Like You on youtube. It was in black and white and it really sounded like Amy but she had short hair. I dont know if I can post it though, if someone could tell me that I can/can't I'd appreciate it!

okay! Thanks for clearing that up! I didn't think it was real cause Amy would have had to cut her hair really short and I dont think she'd do that.

Personally this is the first song I heard out of all of them, and while I liked it at first it has dawned on me that perhaps it is the least distinctive song on the entire album.
Really, until the bridge it has nothing special that jumps out. (If one forgets the lyrics, anyway.) It's a good song, although it is of my opinion that it's (musically) the least individual. Lyrically...I think it's the best one. It's so obvious that it's not in fact about Shaun but about her sister, which I find touching. The other songs could be interpreted different ways but this one's message is so obvious that it's hard not to like it. |

Okay, just gotta say I am in love with this song. This song is so sad but beautiful at the same time. It's so heartbreaking to listen to it. Amy sings it with so much emotion you can almost feel what she's feeling. When she sings, "No matter what they told you, you're not alone, I'll be right beside you forevermore" I get the chills. But overall I love the song and hope they perform it live but considering the story behind it it's doubtful.
