Look Damn You!
If that title doesn't get your attention, I don't know what will.
Ok I finally got it reorganized (b/c that backtoJan25-crashthing messed it up). So yeah it would be cool if you like, looked at it and commented and stuff lol. Anyway, right now it's all art with some photos and writing, but if I ever get the chance I will add songs and stuff. Um this stuff below I did a couple years ago, and I gave it to a friend so I figured I'd immortalize it here... and I added this thing w/ my name that I hung above my stuff at an art show once. Fantasy
I also love fantasy, b/c the real beauty of art is that you can create ANYTHING, and aren't limited by the annoying restrictions of reality.

The Last Unicorn
This is one of my favorite movies/books:
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I actually wrote one of my college admissions essays about The Last Unicorn: I have found many times that something superficially simple, like a book or a movie, can be full of meaning. I have had many meaningful experiences, successes, activities, ect., but I feel I must give attention to a profound but often unnoticed influence in my life, a novel called The Last Unicorn, by Peter S. Beagle. It is this story that taught me to find meaning even in unexpected places, and so it is partially because of The Last Unicorn that I can find so much meaning within my life today. I was first exposed to the story as a child, when I watched a movie based on this novel. I was fascinated by the beauty and unique style of the animation, and so I taught myself to draw unicorns like those in the movie. This was the earliest indication of my artistic talent, and it sparked in me an interest in artwork that I still possess. The story also encouraged me to be creative, for much of its charm comes from its uniqueness. I learned that beautiful and meaningful things can be made by putting together original ideas, and I learned to ignore the philistines who would criticize my art, and the ones who would say that the story is meaningless because unicorns don't exist, because it doesn't take place in modem-day reality, and because its universal truths and allusions will not jump out and place themselves before the reader, but have to be found and appreciated with the help of background knowledge and an open mind. What started off as childhood entertainment became so much more to me, as I rediscovered The Last Unicorn later in novel form. Within the book I found yet more deep and interesting things, and admired the beautifully poetic language, the kind that can't be effectively captured on screen. This led to my interest in writing, and helped me realize that the best writers are as original in their writing style as they are in what they say. So in a way, I owe the discovery of my two greatest talents: my art and my writing, to the story of the Last Unicorn. In addition, this novel led to a friendship which I now treasure, as a mention of the title caught the attention of someone who happened to have a lot in common with me. She has now become one of my closest friends, someone who is there for me throughout all the other meaningful moments of my life, and someone who appreciates the significance of The Last Unicorn. Since these posts are all pretty close together in time, try to edit your previous ones instead of making new ones. We're less strict about double posting in your stuff, but that's a bit many in a short amount of time.
Edit: What do you know, you get the honor of my 666th post.

A lot of your pictures, especially the 1st set, have a unique style to them that is nice to see.
Slightly off-topic: you have a My Little Pony as your avatar, that's friggin' awesome!!! (It's been forever since I've seen that show)
