i thnk the song has the sense of depression.when i listen to,im off n no contact to the world...its the best song on the album

I love the difff sound of this song to all the others. I t gives me this badass vivbe i cant stop lisening it. i lov ethe vocals in this song and tempo changes.

Someone please explain this to me. its like, my brain wont figure out what is being said. like a toungue twister, you know?? hard to explain but what does she mean?! i feel so stupid!!

Ok well I can tell you what I think this line means at the risk of sounding like a pervert (which I'm not!)

But I think it's like...

This is just a physical relationship. So maybe, he has good qualities, but she [Amy] doesn't really care about that right now. She just wants to lose control for once. So, if she "cut him down" to "things she could use" [sex] it's basically taking away all his other good qualities.

This was hard to explain I hope it made sense

I absolutely agree with the sense of depression. I don't think of this song as sexual, I see it more as self-destructive. It feels like somebody who is completely detached from feeling who wants to use sex to feel alive again without any regard for emotion. This is somebody who is not in pain, but somebody who has become numb.

i don't know if this is true..but there's this part in the song that i think that it's about betrayal.

"Mary had a lamb
his eyes black as coals
if we play very quiet, my lamb
Mary never has to know"

i think it means that she can have something with someone, but if they do things quietly, he never has to know.
i know if you understand what i'm trying to say, it's stupid but it's what i think
