Yarr! Last night's episode (despite what I've heard from the recapper) was pretty cool. Remember when that mystery-person-of-scary-doom-evil hit Sayid with like, a 2 by 4? Okay, I think it was either 1. Crazy... I mean, Danielle, or *gasp!* 2. Alex... her CHILD. Ambiguous name? Yes. She never said if her CHILD was a female or male. I smell a plot point.
I really really like Sayid after that episode, mmhm. I'm ready to see Hurley and Babymama, er- Claire... thier episodes. And did anyone else cackle insanely at the "You didn't hear about the polar bear?" Man oh man. |

Wow, I've seen this show from the beggining... well almost, i missed the first 10 minutes of the pilot, anyway, I'm LOVING this show. So very frikin good. It is so god damned refreshing to see a show with great actors, great writers, and an actual budget. With shitty reality shows everywhere, this awesome series is a friggin breath of fresh air. The characters all have such depth, and there's so much mystery while staying very down to earth. This program is one of three great series i am addicted to, the others being Enterprise and Smallville. So everyone watch those shows too!
So, anyway, lost is great and really has this cinematic quality to it, and i am always looking forward to the next episode... and if eventually given the options, I may very well buy a season on DVD.

I actually got to watch last night's episode last night! I usually end up taping and watching it later.
Random LOST thoughts: It was pretty cool to finally see Claire's back-story. Now we're just waiting for Hurley's and Walt/Michael's. Oh, yeah - and Boone/Shannon's. I've read on-line theories where people believe it's all a big conspiracy and that someone on the plane was an "insider", but I don't buy it. It's too convenient. The idea that someone among the castaways WASN'T in the crash is an even better plot development. The LOST writers are doing a pretty good job of keeping the plot twists going and not taking the easy or obvious road with the story. I like how each character's backstory has has some kind of twist or surprise. If you like the LOST/Lord of the Flies parallels, then I think Sayid may be Simon. He's the one who learned the truth about the beastie on the island. I just hope Sayid doesn't suffer Simon's fate! After last night's episode, I'm not sure who's more attractive, Kate or non-pregnant Claire. I'm trying to remember something, but I don't have time to go back an re-watch a bunch of episodes. Hurley made some a comment about a JEDI moment, or JEDI mind trick, or something similar. WHAT WAS IT? I'm wondering if that was a throw-away line, or if maybe my prediction will be correct about Hurley being a comic book store owner or something like that.
