I had a spaz when I saw Ian Somerhalder on the credits. He is the one person who died who I really thing shouldn't have died, and not (just) because he is incredibly good looking, but because he really just fit into the show so well, unlike Shannon.

Desmond pretty much predicted the future. Interesting to see if they develop that.

i'm reading bad twin right now and in one part, the main character reads a plaque at the hanso foundation's office that says the hanso foundation is trying to find ways to help further human evolution.

like maybe making paralyzed people walk. and curing cancer. and unlocking the doors of perception.

I actually liked this week's ep a LOT better than last week's. It seemed to me like Sawyer's flashback took up a much smaller portion of the hour. I like when there's more island stuff. Sometimes the flashbacks get too long, and aren't all that well related to the ongoing story.

It was cool to see Kate taking charge a little. She's done too much cowering and screaming lately.

I'm conflicted about Sawyer. I like that he's really a pretty good guy underneath, but I also like him being a badass. I guess I'm OK with him being both. He's DEFINATELY a more interesting character than Jack!

I also want to see more about Charlie, Hurley, Sayid, and Claire. Especially Claire. (In fact - if Claire took up Shannon's job of bikini-clad-beach-lounger, I'd enjoy that!)
