On the forum at www.thefuselage.com, people have been speculating about what the others are building. Kate said that it's big. Someone suggested that it's a Starbucks, since they seem to be everywhere!
Anyway, here's something I photoshoped which could be the logo for the 8th island station:

thats JJ abrams for you...the same thing happened with Alias over and over and over again. I can't count the times I became to frustrated and irrate when they said oh hey viewers just a few months till new alias episodes....now he is doing it with lost...anyone else see a JJ connection here? he is horribly frustrating. This type of stuff is what made me stop watching Alias. I got so fed up that and I completely forgot about it. Blah

i got bored, so i went back and watched season 1 and paid special attention to kate (not that kind of attention, this was research).
she really does cry in every episode. with maybe 1 or 2 exceptions. if she's on camera for more than a few minutes, she cries.

Actually, Jack cries a lot too. Funny how the "strongest" characters do that. But they've been through a lot of shit. Especially Kate.
