This is a great news for newcomers like me, I don't really like to be waiting for my posts to be "posted", thatks for this

Untuned has a little shameless behaviour in the past
Each time you want to change your title, you have to pay 1000 points? Or is the 1000 points just a one time thing, and after that, you can change it all you want?
Sorry, I'm still an ultranOOb.

P.S. I'm out of the moderation queue.

It will cost 1000 points each time. If you become a paid subscriber, you can change it as much as you want for 0 points!

You were in it for two years?
I was in it for a few days and got pissed off.
At least you are out now, to carefree posting.

I just have to say thankyou. I've been on here as a lurker for years because the queue was annoying for me. I finally got out. Yay. Being a junior member is a lot better.

Nothing reinforces how pointless the moderation queue is than all these "I'm out of the mod queue" and "me too" posts. </sarcasm>

Hmm... that's generally true, unless the majority of your posts come from the "Completely Off-Topic" or "Introduce Yourself" Forums. Then you could have 1,000 points and not nearly as close to 100 posts.

So Draconian~Nymph and Scratchy, I guess I beat both of you guys. =p

Or I guess the arcade suggestion would work just as efficiently.

Anyhow, not meaning to sway off-topic, I'm going to join the party and say I love the new policy. I've read through most of the posts in this thread, and many users are mentioning it took them months and for some, even years to finally make it out of the queue. And I can safely assume I speak for many when I say that at points, it's hard to not get impatient or even frustrated when waiting for your posts to appear. So this idea works spendidly, as it not only encourages the quality members to continue taking part in the Evboard community, but also provides incentive for the newer members to follow the rules and post intelligently. I'm sure you're getting plenty of love in here ToB, but I just wanted to swing by and pitch in my two cents.

I was in the mod queue for three days I think and it drove me mad enough even then, luckily I was repped out of it quickly or it probably would have anoyed me to the point of not bothering to post. But I do still think it is a good and neccesary system to have.
I'm glad I appeared after all these new rules were listed, and all I can advise to everyone who is still on the queue and wants off quickly -post relevant posts and really think about what your saying before you post, it'll pay off in the long run, quality not quantity. You don't want to be listed as a spammy n00b member.
