So we have taken into consideration all of the names you guys have posted and wanna thank each and everyone of you for taking the time to come here and share your ideas with us. Some of them wer'e really cool! Although some of you have expressed the desire for us to keep the same name, we have to move on cuz you can't put a new wine into old skins-you know the saying. In otherwords, a new band needs a new name, otherwise w'ell be trapped in something that's not really us and it won't work. So in conclusion, we are planning on unveiling our name some time in the next 7-10 days. We will be playing a show at the "Shrine Mosque" in Springfield,MO under our new title some time in the first week of July, stay tuned for details. Also we'll be revamping this site with new artwork/photos and making an official site in the near future as well. More shows will be booked in the next few months so keep an eye out for us here! We'll be playing mostly regional-TN, AR, MO, and other southern states for the time being. THANKYOU ALL FOR YOUR COMPLIMENTS ON THE NEW SONGS WE REALLY APPRECIATE YOUR FEEDBACK AND LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU YOU MEAN THE WORLD TO US!!!!!!!!!

Not that it's a bad name or something, but I wouldn't have chosen it for them. There are hundreds of bands that have the word "machine" in their names. I can't see their unique identity with this kind of name.

And on top of that there seems to be a band called Machina already.

I just read one of the comments someone posted on their myspace and I couldn't help but crack up about it. Here is what she said:

Anywho, I'm sure that they did some research and made sure that they could use the name. I suggested "Exemplar," did a search and no one has that name. Would have been so cool for them.

Well, they didn't seem to search hard, because if you enter "Machina" on Google, you'll get that website on the top of the second page. But if you enter "Machina band", you'll get this website on the top of the first page.

I don't know their situation, maybe they could register that name legally, but I wonder why it didn't bother them that there're at least two bands with the same name. Didn't they want something unique?

Maybe they're just confident that they'll do the name more justice than any of the other bands.
