Machina (f.k.a. Future Leaders of the World)
Is there anyone else here that loves this band? You may not recognize the name, but they are the band that does the song "Let Me Out". If you have never heard this song, you should go to www.futureleadersoftheworld.com and listen to it. Its a great song. The lead singer, Phil Tayler, is a good screamer and singer. A lot of people think they sound like Puddle of Mudd, which i can agree with, but i think Phil Tayler can scream like Kurt Cobain.

I saw them play once over the summer...but from what I've heard, they broke up and the lead singer, Phil, has trademarked the name so that he can continue on his own or start a new band under that name. So if they do come out with another album, it won't be the same band as they were before.

Okay so you guys were loving on this band with this post like 7 months ago. And you all may or may not have caught John's post a couple of months ago were he stated that him and Phil were working together. But all that to say:
1. The stuff they are doing is sooooo awesome and I'm not being bias! You can check it out yourself at myspace.com/flow247. 2. They are doing a small intimate acoustic show Wednesday March 1st for only $5. It is an all age show at a small sports bar called Fatbacks Sports Bar in North Little Rock. You will have to call them for any other details but I can say if you get to go be early they can only fit 300. Hope I get to see alot of you guys there. ![]() |
