Machina (f.k.a. Future Leaders of the World)

Is there anyone else here that loves this band? You may not recognize the name, but they are the band that does the song "Let Me Out". If you have never heard this song, you should go to www.futureleadersoftheworld.com and listen to it. Its a great song. The lead singer, Phil Tayler, is a good screamer and singer. A lot of people think they sound like Puddle of Mudd, which i can agree with, but i think Phil Tayler can scream like Kurt Cobain.

Heeey I heard that song a while ago and I really loved it.
I was going to look into the band but I forgot.
They seem pretty cool.

Ooh, I really like Let Me Out. When I first heard it, it did remind me of Puddle of Mudd. Oh well, still good

I saw them play once over the summer...but from what I've heard, they broke up and the lead singer, Phil, has trademarked the name so that he can continue on his own or start a new band under that name. So if they do come out with another album, it won't be the same band as they were before.

Well the band was pretty much Phil Tayler from the start. He wrote the songs and composed the music, so it isn't that bad if the band comes back with new people playing instruments. Not that they weren't important, but they were just performing his songs. There are other people who could do it. Though i guess it still sucks, because i really love the band. Its not often i hear a song that just instantly blows me away like listening to Let Me Out did. Not since the first time i heard Bring Me To Life and went out to buy Fallen, actually.

Okay so you guys were loving on this band with this post like 7 months ago. And you all may or may not have caught John's post a couple of months ago were he stated that him and Phil were working together. But all that to say:

1. The stuff they are doing is sooooo awesome and I'm not being bias! You can check it out yourself at myspace.com/flow247.

2. They are doing a small intimate acoustic show Wednesday March 1st for only $5. It is an all age show at a small sports bar called Fatbacks Sports Bar in North Little Rock. You will have to call them for any other details but I can say if you get to go be early they can only fit 300.

Hope I get to see alot of you guys there.

I now have a time for you guys. Show starts at 9pm but like I said before be early only 300 in the door.

Hey, who is going to get to go to the acoustic performance? It should sooo rawk! I have been listening to them practice it off and on for the last few days and I can honestly say that it is going to be awesome. Hope to see everyone there.
