Ah, so I started to type a whole bunch of poems and such up, and then my dog unplugged my computer, SO! I'm only going to put up one right now... It's one that needs a little work, but yeah:

Sleepless

Simply silent and rightfully wrong
I count the hours 'till this day is done.
I bite my lip and shut my eyes tight
And wonder if I'll sleep tonight.
Or if I'll just sit up and think
About the thoughts in which I sink.
Or anything that's ever gone wrong,
And why the hell it took so long
To finally pull myself away
From the nothing I do everyday
And force myself to go to bed
As these worthless thoughts invade my head.
And I think of all the things I hate
Like me, and you, and selfish fate.
I hate the way I hate so much,
And how I can't shut my own mind up.
I'm tired, but my thoughts are loud,
Waking me up, and pulling me down.
I try so hard not to open my eyes,
Not to look at the clock, and not to cry.
For I know I only have a couple hours,
Before my weary mind's devoured.
It's now or never, get some rest.
I'll try, self, I always try my best.
I lay and wait to be woken up
From sleep that teased, but never did come.

Pulsing with anticipation;
Restless and afraid.
Abrasive nonsense,
Keeping me awake.

Lonesome.
Desperate.

Left by myself,
Longing to be whole.
Help me figure me out
It's beyond my control.

Craving.
Needy.

Help me.

Embrace me.
