Close up of the Californian "snake":

Lastly please have a listen to some stuff I've recorded over the years

http://www.purevolume.com/devnullandthebitbuckets

Track1 is a cover instrumental of Hello
Track2 is a cover of Stripped by Depeche Mode
Track3 is an original named Wondering World by my friend Russ Smaha I did the lead guitar work. This was recorded directly to a mini disc recorder then dropped into the computer, so the mix is the mix because of the lack of control.
Track4 is an original. The music is me and lyrics are by Steve Crosby. I also did the solo. The drums are Jeff Campitelli (Joe Satriani's drummer) It was recorded to tape back in 1992 and is one of 4 songs that got us a record contract offer.

Enjoy and/or leave a comment or two.

Nice axes, though. What amp(s) do you use?
d00d mah bad! I'll move the post... truly sorry about the hi-jack.

Umm that depends, to which sound are you refering? The newest two songs are recorded straight in from my Line6 PODxt. "Wondering World" was again recorded straight in from my Rocktron Chaemeleon (black face). Lastly the demo tape from the early 90's was recorded with a highly modified Marshall JCM 900 super lead 100w through a Marshall 1960a (model number not year of production) 4 x 12 75 watt celeston filled slant cabined. The mic on the cab was a Shure SM-57 on the bottom speaker about half way out from the center of the cone about 2 inches away from the screen. As you know the end of the SM-57 is flat, using that reference it was "flat" to the screen.

:edit: Oh yeah I almost for got the solo on that demo tape was recorded through a Randy Statman modified HiWatt Custom 100w head through the same cab mic combo.

I guess the answer is both my chaemeleon and my PODxt, but mostly the PODxt. Let me know if any of this makes sense?

BTW I'll post pictures of my studio here shortly.
