Yes, they are actually sonnets written in the Shakespearean form. And thank you! I usually have a very hard time coming up with titles and generally think they suck!

I covet the Sun and His constant light

When Morning, vigilant and bright shall wake
The bales cast upon me doth more than ache

His warmth shall never wake thee; He dost know
And withdraws into depths of dark aglow
For at Night, my pains in thine absence, plead
Till the Morn wakes and I follow His lead

Nice to see you posting again, Marcassa! I liked this piece a lot, too. The use of Old English really works here... And it's not that difficult to understand, just because of how you worded it.

I hope to see more of your work in the future.

Thanks! I do love nature as well. It's one of my favourite topics to write about...it actually seems I have to incoporate it into everything.
