Her original first single off of this new album was scrapped in favor of It's Like That, a track produced by Jermaine Dupri. Sounds a lot like something Kelis would do.

Open Arms, Hero, Whitout You, her duet with whitney houston
definitly worth listning too

i don't like the new works
it doesn't sound like singing anymore to me

Yeah her music has changed a lot..but..people's taste changes..in addition..she's always been into hip hop..but Tommy and crew at Sony/Columbia weren't happy about that. I've seen on a couple of webistes (mcarchives.com) that Say Something won't be the first single.

I have always liked her, and I have Daydream, Butterfly, Rainbow and Charmbracelet. I think she has a great voice, and I like listening to her. I didn't know she was coming out with a new album though, I'll have to check it out

Wow, i can't believe i haven't posted on here before.

Anyways, i like most peeps here, like her stuff before #1's. Her voice is amazing and teamed up with Walter, she can produce songs that can really move me.

Anything Rainbow onwards was a bit of a hit and miss affair. Some songs i liked, but she doesn't seem to sing anymore, I can accept maybe her voice ain't what it used to be, but she's almost talking in some tracks on Charmbraclet. Glitter was badly produced, you can hear where they cut and pasted her voice together (eww), the only track that saved it was "Never too far".

I just hope the new album will have some of the old Mariah back.

I love Mariah Carey. I loved her more recent cds as well as her older ones (haha, I have them all

). Her voice and lyrics are both beautiful and enchanting. I cannot wait until this new album is released!!! I didn't even know until now that she was making a new cd, but I'm for sure going to buy it. Mariah Carey has a talent not seen too much anymore.

I am a big fan of Mariah's older stuff. I don't like how much she changed to be like the new music

After 'Honey' I just wasn't interested. But Old Mariah = Love ^.^ I'm soo jealous of her voice though

Mariah's older stuff I like more. I don't really like anything after Rainbow. Her music has changed and seems to get worse. And her acting is terrible. Don't get me wrong. I'm a big fan of Mariah. But she has gone downhill. I will still check out what her new release sounds like, although I'm not expecting to jump all over it. And I don't like all these duets.

! I think it will be nice, JD is on it, but not for long, it is mostly MC and she sounds great. Go around on some MC sites, and i'm sure you can find it.

I hope this new album will bring her back up, she was the best selling female artist of the 90s, that can't be it for her
