...I think there may be a few others out there secretly wondering the same thing.
Does anybody else think that there's any chance of Evanescence reuniting?
When I say Evanescence I mean the proper Evanescence, not Amyescence.
I have just seen Ben and the guy's new band and I know their meant to be completely different but the fact that their playing stuff from Fallen and that I actually mistook the new singer for Amy kinda seems to say something about what their trying to do.If Ben and John and the guys can put their problems aside then maybe one day Amy can with them.
Everyone knows that since Ben and David left Evanescence that the music has gone straight downhill, so with John and Rocky now gone, the new music might be even worse.
Amy doesn't even really have a band anymore does she.

Evanescene (or Amy Lee and her band) are ailing completly, as soon as eveey member of the band left, except her, Ev died. A SOLO artist can easily replace her backing band

No chance in hell that's going to happen, especially with they guys doing their own thing now and backstabbing Amy. By the way I think Carly's voice sounds a little countrified, but don't get me started on that whole bit. Hopefully the new music won't suck...if she gets the right people and then maybe she can prove to world that she can keep a band together, because that's what she needs to do right now.

I really wouldn't consider it "backstabbing..." they're artists and they have every right in the world to start another band and continue making the kind of music they have been making all along. It's not like they all got together and decided to ditch Amy to start this band... John and Rocky were fired.

In a lot of ways, if Ben were ever to re-join Amy to write or record, I think I might lose some respect for him. As one of his lyrics said "you can't mend the bones you've broken."

I would lose respect for Amy if that happened. Ben leaving the band was the best thing that ever happened to Evanescence. People can deny that all they want but Terry IS a much better musician and writer.

It doesn't even make sense because you obviously CAN mend bones that are broken. Those lyrics remind me of some depressed teenager's writings in their notebook. He is a shitty writer and a shitty guitar player. Terry and John leaving the band is also a blessing... they didn't contribute anything to the band except play the music that was handed to them. I am SOOO glad they are out... People can get mad at Amy all they want over her choices, but in the end it is HER music and HER art and she did what she had to do in order to protect it. All anyone cares about is the IMAGE which is a complete LIE. They think "OMG all the members are gone, what am I to do? I can't brag about how they are a real band and how they all rock"... sorry to burst your bubble but Amy has always been the head of Evanescence, unless you want to count Ben but he was just a tool. A poppy, mainstream idiot.
Sorry for the rant but I have been dying to say this stuff to you people forever. I mean seriously, if you guys hate Amy so much what are you still doing posting on an Evanescence message board? Because you love the old members? Sorry but they are not Evanescence anymore... get on with your life.
