Mean Creek - [MOVIE]

I've been seriously crying my eyes out for the past half an hour. I feel like I've been hit very hard with something heavy in the chest. I just finished watching this movie, this wonderful, but very...depressing film.

No other film has ever done this to me, nor ever made me feel this way. In the rare times a movie has made me shed tears, I quickly recovered. This has apparently impacted me on a much larger scale.

I really want to describe this movie in my own words, but all I can really focus on is the underlying message and how it's made me feel. It's really set to make one think about things. Not only about casting unfair judgement on others...but even when on the surface it seems perfectly clear that someone seems to deserve "what they have coming", the entire picture just may not be shown.

All I can really say is it's very impactful on so many levels. The outstanding acting (seriously, it's some of the absolute best I've seen from such young actors) just adds to this.

This sounds like one movie, I should really see.
I love films that, are just that real, and that are sad at times.
I have seen movies, that really make me cry, but this sounds more like, I am going to cry through out the entire movie.
So i am going to look for it, an definitely watch it.
Thank you for posting this Steph, always something new to watch, that
I haven't heard of, nor seen.
