Yes,there is a book,and it's called "Memoirs of a Geisha" aswell...
It's been written by Arthur Golden and it's been published in 2000 ^_^
it's wonderful,you should read it.
When I talk about Geishas and their world, some friends of mine are use to thinking "Oh,Geisha? What is it?A b****?"
if you read the book, you'll find out that Geishas are not B******

The book is one of the most beautiful books I've ever come across.
Reviews of the film see to be pretty good. Everything I've seen so far sees the movie as good. Its making me even more excited, that the dircetor (Rob Marshall) didn't totally mess it up. But he directed Chicago, he knows good film

This sounds like a great movie, I really want to see it. I just found out today that they filmed the movie five minutes from where I live (wow, I'm really slow ).

I want to see this movie, too. Look very interesting. Haven't read the book, but maybe I should now that I'm interested in the movie.

And I'm actually within six degrees of separation of someone who worked in the film. My mom's aunt's daughter's brother-in-law is Tom (?) DeLuca, and he was a producer of some kind for the film. He also worked in the film version of Chicago.

Wait, that would really be four degrees of separation .... right?

lol uh...I don't know, but I think, from what I've seen so far, Memoirs seems to be a really pretty movie. Kinda like LOTR. If it doesn't turn out to be what I'd expected (which probably won't happen), then I'm just gunna get that movie anyway just cuz the film was so prettily filmed!

Bahaha. I've just decided to be a nerd when I'm gonna go see this movie.
I'm going to wear my blue contacts. Even though they're different shades of blue, I don't care. Bah.
