If I had a world of my own, everything would be nonsense. Nothing would be what it is because everything would be what it isn't. And contrary-wise; what it is it wouldn't be, and what it wouldn't be, it would. You see?

Oh fuck...I never knew things would get this bad in Evanescence. I knew once Ben left, Evanescence legally became Amy but I NEVER once thought she would start acting like she was the only part of Ev and become such an egomaniac.

This has really disappointed me, as I have lost a lot of respect for her over this. I'm not an Evanescence fan (haven't been one in a long time) but I at least thought Amy was that awesome, sweet and kind chick that I met back in '04.

I guess fame really got the best of her. John and Rocky stood by Amy through it all -- when Ben left, the whole deal with the manager, Will's departure, and even when Amy would scrapped their ideas for the second album and didn't allow them to participate... they STILL supported her.

Amy has said in SEVERAL interviews that she thinks Evanescence as a family. Though we have not heard her side of the story, I really think firing John was the most fucked up thing she could ever do. As a 'band' or a family as she puts it out, no matter what drama occurs, you hope for everything to work out. You don't FIRE someone who you consider to be like family.

I feel like I'm getting nowhere with this post, but I had to express this. Amy Lee has really dug her own grave...because it has caused a huge uproar in the Ev community (some of my friends are still Ev fans and they are pretty upset about this, as well as her ongoing arrogant attitude).

I hope Amy gets the help she deserves, the woman really needs to re-examine her priorities and REMEMBER the good that people like John and Rocky have done in her life. As Alarandiia stated, she is in her own world.

I hope the best for you John as well as Rocky. You guys rock!

You were always my favorite band member. You're an awesome musician and I'm really going to look into your band now and hopefully I will like it!

I find it ironic she is marrying a therapist.However he has known her for a very long time so maybe he can still see the sweet, ether_angel she once was. Hopefully she will get the help she truly needs. Needed long before this.

i'm just speachless about the whole thing...

I couldn't have said it better. I believe that the whole "not caring about how musicians are off stage" thing has its limits. And for me, Amy found that limit a while ago. I appreciated Ev's music to some extent after 05... but I can honestly say I don't feel any desire to support Amy in any of her future ventures. Some people might have seen Amy as being equivalent to Evanescence, but without Rocky and John this "band" has little or no appeal. Not to mention, the firing of old band mates seems like a vicious circle that's never ending. This whole episode has made me want to rethink every single "falling out" that has happened within this group. From Ben to the manager whom she fired, and now to John and Rocky... it just seems like Amy constantly acts like a wounded dove amidst problems,.. I'm starting to believe, were of her own creation.
