I'm not surprised.
Awesome memories, though. Thanks, Evanescence. Since ToD, I haven't felt the same about them. Kind of like a friend who starts making dumb decisions (or releasing mediocre albums) and then you just drift apart slowly until something like this happens and you're like "fuck it!" Machina ftw! I think Amy Lee needs to care more about her friends and her band than hr fame. There is no denial that she is talented and Evanescence are an awesome band but it's just stupid that she thinks she can do it alone. I've really grown to like evanescence for a band not just amy lee and now it seems hardly worth it cause it is all over. I will continue to support evanescence and machina by I just wished it wouldn't end this way. It just seems like Amy Lee wants to fail now, cause her true fans will never feel the same way about the band... its a confusing situation and im really annoyed about it all. Thanks for all you did for evanescence John and Rocky, they won't be the same without you!

I will freakin laugh if they even try to replace you guys.. no John and Rocky = no Evanescence Well, I can see the future looking like this : massive loss of fans for amyescence plenty of new fans for Machina... |

but I agree with MidnightWolf. Amys band will lose a lot of fans... that was the biggest fault Amy could do... stupid decision Amy!!! I'm dissappointed! I lost a lot of respect. But I'm looking forward to listen to Machina and I'm excited what Amy is doing now... good luck to john and rocky. you guys rock! you were Evanescence!!! It will never be Evanescence without you! I love you guys! Amy can't find better musicians than you! peace! |

and so the final desecration of what was once a band called evanescence is complete. Ms. lee has finally achieved what she has strived for,to be the sole star in a rock band.the fact that she has had to drive out everyone from the original group seems to be of no concern to her. now without any distractions from anyone else, the world can concentrate soley on her talented song writing and sweet sweet voice.-----sad sad day.
