Lee said guitarist John LeCompt and drummer Rocky Gray, who left the lineup earlier this month and were recently replaced by Dark New Day's Will Hunt and Troy McLawhorn, "both made it clear they were ready to move on." LeCompt and Gray "were very vocal about the fact that they didn't really care about Evanescence at all and just stayed around for the money," the post continued. "They were miserable. They are no longer playing with us because I love this band too much to see it driven into the ground." Lee also said that Gray didn't quit, as he's claimed; she contends he was fired after weeks of threatening to quit. ...

--Anyone who could actually take this music seriously is a no talent, very unoriginal music lover. Of course my brother and Rocky were miserable, what kind of band mate has Josh Freese and other in-studio musicians play on the recordings instead of her own guys. What kind of person fires people over the phone, then tells the media that the band "parted ways" only to retract her statement after the two musicians defended themselves. Amy Lee. I'd say they are doing what any other person should do, and that is getting away from your horrible songwriting which lacks anything Ben Moody ever put into this band by the way.
You claim this band is your heart...how about putting some heart into your group as well. I can't really feel for your new line-up, Will Hunt and the Dark New Day band were awesome. But this isn't Dark New Day... it is a generic rip off of Lacuna Coil. They will find out shortly just how you are. Wow, Amy Lee is so gothic! You are about as goth as those ten year olds who worship you. You have lied to my brother and everyone else involved in this circle, and have always put yourself on a pedistal. Every video and every promo pic, you are up front and they are the blurry guys. Your big forehead is on the first cover alone, as well as The Open Door.
You talk about emotions and now you talk about rocking harder, but in the past 4 years you have managed to lead your way into a band with no original members except yourself. You sit on your 15+ Million dollars while others didn't make half of a million while touring with you all this time. You have no emotions toward people which always made me feel sick because you always put up a front toward everyone...not just our familys, but toward your fans to.
For anyone who believes in true music, Evanescence is a jip.

I'm not really sure what Jimmy hoped to accomplish by this. Some of those Ev fans he just insulted are going to be supporting Machina.

Enough already. John and Rocky said their piece, as did Thad. Then Amy retorted, Jack responded, and now we have Jimmy's 2-cents.

I get they WANT all the people to know what Amy is like, but Jimmy didn't have to insult the fans of the music.

See, I could care less about Amy's "hidden personality" I just try to enjoy the music that is being created and given to me, because that's what it is intended to do. Who cares how she acts behind closed doors, as long as the music is enjoyable than I'm fine.

No, I'm not sticking up for Amy or anyone. I'm just trying to say that Evanescence is a band. Enjoy it while it lasts. Machina is a band. It's new, and has high intentions. Hopefully both bands do well, and make their fans happy.

That actually made me LOL because you simply have no idea what you are talking about. Amy would be another girl with a piano and a decent voice if Ben and David hadn't made some awesome music.

If that's the case, I don't concur, then Ben was pwned by a smarter Amy.

I know voices and she has a voice; you can disagree but, at the very least, you must agree that it's a voice that sells, obviously. Ben's guitar skills - A dime a dozen.

yeah thats why ben's picture was on the bmi site with other infuential music producers/writers this past month. not to mention he worked on the song of the year according to bmi (because of you)

last time i checked ,because of you was a number one hit and he worked on that with kelly clarkson. if youre gonna come here and post, try to say something semi intelligent. i know it's hard for you, but really, just put a little effort into it. you may surprise yourself.....or fall flat on your face....either way we get some entertainment out of it.

Wow, are you John's accountant or work at his bank or maybe go thru this garbage at night since you seem so sure he is a millionaire when his own brother stated otherwise? You know absolutely nothing except how to be a flaming asshole!

I do agree with you on a few points.Amy does have a good voice and is quite pretty, so what? There are lots of people in this ol' world who are equally as talented, nice looking women but are also kind, grateful, and generous. To many that counts big time.

Lastly, I would not exactly call the work from TOD at the top of the charts. Ben was crucial to the sound that many fell in love with, whether you like it or not. He had a magic all his own that melded with Amy's abilities. FALLEN was at the top of the charts because it was a true work of art. "The over-confident Diva" as I've taken to calling TOD shows off Amy's arrogance and self-importance but little else in the way of a formerly amazing band.

Yeah, I would not for a minute assume that John or anyone in the band besides Amy to be a millionair. You have no idea what so ever.

As for where Ben is? He's an in very high demand song writer who has worked in a huge array of music styles with a huge array of artist. That and people are just hanging off their seats for his solo album which hopefully he will one day find time for).
