It is said there are two sides to every story and then the whole truth, but Amy's track record speaks for itself in my opinion.She is not the sweetheart so many blind sheep believe her to be. Isn't that the tiniest bit OBVIOUS to people by now? Being pretty and talented is not a license to be a complete total and utter bitch to those who were with you and stood by your side from the time you were a complete nobody to now. She has proved her lack of loyalty long before this.

You know she is way too damn young to be suffering from the case of amneisa she has.
I have never been impressed by her, she is just some girl with a good voice who caught a break. There are alot of people in this old world who can sing well.So many of the covers done right by members on this board were vocally tighter than her originals, IMHO.
Quite frankly if it had been Amy that left Evanescence and Ben continued the same formula with a new female singer, I think it would have been equally as successful. I know ALOT of girls who easily have the vocal ability she does. On this new album she sounded so flat half of the time( and mechanical the other) I was even suprised it did as well as it has. I like the old stuff before her ego took over.

Ok this is your position.. And i think totally different.. for me Amy its Evanescence with or without John or Rokki or anyone esle.. She make whole stuff or most of it and its known (music, lyrics). I like Evanescence because Amy sing a good songs and (after leaving of Ben) creating most of them and not because of music style or how Amy looks like or how John play guitar. And i know that as till as Amy is alive and WANT to run the band ill get songs like Lacrymosa and more (from TOD), many years after the previous and great "Fallen" was released. This stuff just prooved that Amy can go without anyone in creation of music and continuing the band.

But this is my emotions and its not connected to fact, that there was a reason of fiering John from group, and a horrble message John posted after that, and this reason everyone want to know..

Iam a fan of Evanescence (or Amy - call however u want to) from the beginning and Amy make me a gift coming Israel next month, but all this stuff around John can or could ruin it, and i damn want to know the reason.

Well John has no reason to lie, and there are people that have posted things previously that have known Amy personally and aren't exactly jumping to her defense now. I defend my position on this!

I don't see how John's message is so terrible, do you not understand that getting fired over the cell phone after years of friendship and being bandmates is far worse than anything he said in his post? Those guys are far too talented to be left in the shadows the way they were to begin with.

Everything happens for a reason, and when the dust settles the reasons why will be more clear, I am sure.

I hope you get to see her in concert as you wish. By then maybe all the info we enquiring minds want to know will be old news...

I 100% agree with everything that you have just said. Evanescence just isn't the same anymore...it hasn't been in a long time. The only works I consider to be 'Evanescence' are Fallen, Origin, the EPs and the demos...other than that, The Open Door is just Amy Lee.

As for the whole John/Rocky incident...I have a lot more peace about it now and I'm glad they will finally have the chance to pour all their energy in Machina (and other side projects).

When I met Amy back in '04 she was a sweetheart. Very kind, seemed loving and appreciative and personable. Also it didn't hurt that she was freakin' gorgeous and I couldn't take my eyes off of her.

I still remember are conversation to this day (I believe it was about cats being cooler than dogs hahaha

). I never thought she would become so arrogant like she has.

With all the interviews and recent events, she seems to have let fame and fortune get the best of her. I really believe she wasn't ALWAYS a stuck up bitch like so many people think she is...I think she's become a victim of her own hype.

Its sad but I wish the best for Evanescence and John and Rocky.

Thanks Rock King. I know a few people who used to be friends&accquaintances with Amy which is why I am pretty sure she is far from blameless in all of this. I've known of this side of her long before now.

According to the one who was a really close online buddy of hers she was pretty nice up until right around the summer after Fallen was released. She went from a very sweet girl(similar to the one you described) not real sure she'd be able to handle all that was expected of her, scared to death she'd let everyone down to this prima donna so full of herself it was hard to believe that a mere 6 months before she was that person he had befriended.My friend is actually the one who ended their friendship, he is not the type who is impressed by fame anyhow, much less some drama queen who feeds off hype.

Amy's track record throughout the years is a shining beacon to direct attention to what can be the only explanation to this situation: She cares only for herself and her own personal gain, and nothing for those who helped her get where she is. She will connive, lie and manipulate to get what she wants, discarding real people like garbage on the side of the road to fame. This includes the fans that put her where she is. She'll never tell you the truth because then you wouldn't worship her like the goddess she wants you to believe she is. She'll continue to issue statements like this with the hope that her naive fans will not think to look deeper below her pompous exterior for what really lies beneath: pride and haughtiness.

She probably couldn't even admit outright that she has any sort of agenda like ToB is describing because she is too damn self absorbed to recognize it in the first place.

Is this an EvFANS forum, or a "I hate Amy, let's kill her" one? I personally think it's very immature from you, being an admin of such a forum, to speak like this. Have you thought that maybe not even Amy is allowed to say the whole truth yet? That's a possibility too, and we can't blame anyone until we know what happened
