I don't think you know the whole background of while people may act hostile towards Amy here. ToB has every right to say what he wants, he has first-hand experience with dealing with Amy's "cast-off everyonr that helped her get where she is today" attitude.

Is it possible to see Amy in anything but a negative light? John didn't want to leave by the sound of it. a lot of other bands manage to stay together through good and bad for a lot longer than Ev has. If I had to chose, Id say this is a I hate Amy lets kill her thread! And she deserves it

Sadly, That is rpetty much the same story at friggin Evthreads. Everyone keeps saying "OMG WAIT FOR AMY LEEEEEE TO POST SO WE CAN TAKE IN EVERY WORD SHE SAYS AND CONTINUE WORSHIPING HER" and the like. Its pretty laughable that everyone thinks she is going to come post at Evthreads and let her fans have an insight in things. She posted there about 5 times including her first post there so that she could get thousands of people to join Evthreads just cause OMG Amy LEEEE!!@!@ posts there. After that, she is a pretty much inactive member.

Evboard is a fucking sigh of relief from evthreads! I'm so happy to read these replies that actually see amy for who she now is. Im sad that we may never know the full story, for whoever was or is in evanescence has no freedom of speech. Evanescence is now communist. John, I fucking love you, and rocky, you just pwn. Im so terribly dissapointed in Amy, someone whom I once adored so. I was going to be all emo and take down my fallen poster, but thats the amy i fell in love with! Shes long gone, taken over by a self-absorbed dictator who writes angry songs about her own fans! So thankyou amy, for turning into yet another cruel bitch in the music industry, and destroying my respect for my favorite band. Thankyou.

ToB, thanks for making this forum and allowing John a place to tell everyone what really happened here. Otherwise people might actually believe Amy's total bs of a statement. Amy is a selfish little pig - what goes around comes around. Anyone else see this coming a long time ago? I did. It's not "Evanescence", it's all about Amy Lee. That would be all fine if she wasn't such a pig of a human being. I'm truly ashamed to have her album in my house. The band made HER. You don't screw over your band. So sad that she really is as tragic as her songs. What a joke.

John, you're a real person and don't ever let the fame change you. You'll do well. I'm sorry this happened - but don't you really feel sorry for her boyfriends?? At least you weren't one of them! Ha... she'll get hers. Things have a way of working out for the decent people. Take care and please keep in touch here - you obviously have the love & support you deserve. I am mostly a "reader" of this forum and for me to post at 2:41 am when I woke up means I am really pissed and disgusted.
