You should definately consider getting an Xbox. They've got plenty of great games other than Halo and Halo 2. Your cousin is right too, after you get used to using the controllers you would be a lot better at playing on the Xbox.

Yeah, theres a lot of games I play on my cousins Xbox that I'd love to be able to have at home. Plus I've been waiting so long for Doom 3 only to find out my PC has no chance of playing it, so once the Xbox version comes out thats another huge reason for me to get one

I saw an in game trailer for Halo 2 and I wasn't as impressed as everyone had led me to believe that I would be.

Still looks cool though.

Yeah Halo rocks, i play the pc version online, under the name KaK... i used to have the Xbox version, until i let someone borrow it... it came back in 3 pieces :/

Halo 2... i have a pre-order on it, but i am looking forward to Doom3 more...

Halo 2 looks REALLY badass. I really can't wait for this game. Something is supposedly happening on August 24th, and many people are hoping for a demo of some sort.

This game is totally going to knock the socks off of anyone who plays it.

I am a big Halo fan myself, and you can play the Xbox version online using a pipeline program and a broadband connection. It gets a big laggy every now and then, but it is fine.

Hoping for a demo on August 24th huh? Hah, not gonna happen. If you didn't know, the August 24th thing is basically because on August 24th of many years in history something that has changed many things in the world happened...if I remember correctly, the ice age ended on the 24th, and something else huge happened then as well. It has something to do with Astrology I believe. Anyhow, that doesn't mean nothing will happen on the 24th...but a Halo 2 demo is out of the question. The game is still in beta testing, and Bungie will never even consider releasing a demo unless the game is nearly perfect. What probably will happen on the 24th you are probably wondering? Xbox Live 3.0.

Haha, well I'm sure you already know about the www.ilovebees.com thing being at the end of the Halo 2 cinematic trailor, which is where the countdown to August 24th has been found.

Coincidentally, in the recent Official Xbox Magazine, there is a promo ad for the holiday issue of OXM. In the ad, you see an OXM issue wrapped up in gift wrapping, with a tag that says "To NOT open until August 24th!!" And OXM issues usually come with a demo disc, so that's where that little theory comes from. I personally don't know what to think.

Yeah, I saw the I love Bees thing. It is just Bungie's idea of a joke. Probably not a great idea to joke with angry gamers that have been waiting for this game since November 2001, but still. I can almost guaruntee you that August 24th, aside from being the day that 12 Stones releases their sophomore effort, will be the day Xbox Live 3.0 is released.

Well any Xbox you buy these days doesn't come with those big ass controllers because, everyone hates them. They come with the much smaller, more comfortable Controller-S.
