Microsoft Xbox's Halo / Halo 2 - EvBoard

I searched for a Halo or Halo 2 thread but I couldn't find one! So I figured I would start one myself, seeing as how Halo is one of the best games ever and Halo 2 will be the best game ever when it comes out.

Is anyone here a big Halo fan? If not you should really check it out. If you don't like the single player Campaign mode then you would definately like the multiplayer mode. I could (and have) played multiplayer Halo for hours on end.

If anyone plays online (Halo PC), I always play under either Qweedle Guy or BrianMcCraw.

Halo 2 looks REALLY badass. I really can't wait for this game. Something is supposedly happening on August 24th, and many people are hoping for a demo of some sort.

This game is totally going to knock the socks off of anyone who plays it.

but seriously, Halo kicks some serious assage.

and playing wiht a huge group of people is hilarious... ive done it before, and it's the coolest thing ever.
but, i broke my Halo disk, *cries*

and i cannot wait for Halo 2 and DWing weps, heehee

You broke your Halo disk!? That's horrible!

You should play online like on the PC or something. There's a demo available. Also there's a new Custom Edition that I think is free.

i absolutely abhore it.

nah, ill either just wait for Halo 2, or just use that program that lets you go online with the XBox Halo.... pretty cool

That's a hell of a lot of copies! I remember reading a couple days ago that there are over 700,000 copies reserved either nationwide or worldwide. Microsoft is shipping 1 million copies at the initial release and expect to sell 5 million within the first 6 months.

I'd try to get that XBConnect thing but I probably couldn't get it to work. Also I'm not sure if it'll be all that reliable, with all these people on Dial-Up these days playing games online. I dunno I might give it a shot one of these days. If I can find my Halo

I tried playing Halo online a couple of times.. I got my ass KICKED all the times. I am just as happy playing against the boys when we have halo night and there is 4xboxes hooked up its sweet. But i keep seeing articles about Halo2 it just keeps getting better~

i despise first person shooters.
the only one i like is Halo.... and i think that's because of the control interface on the XBox.. just makes for some hella awesome movement and accuracy
