I didnt know where to put this & i did search

I found this when i was looking through Google for some Evanescence pics.

Was it a single or like was it released different than Anywhere But Home?

I'm pretty sure 'missing' was released as a single in some countries to promote ABH.

i believe it was only released in europe. i remember watching a video clip of trl italy i think it was, and amy and the host were talking about the song and such. iono i maybe wrong.

What's the idea behind releasing one song in one country (e.g. "Imaginary" in Spain) and "Missing" in others, yet excluding them from U.S. release?

they were radio promotional singles only you couldnt actually purchase the singles from the stores, the cds were made up and sent to radio stations to promote anywhere but home

Actually, I think it might've been here too. Because I heard it on the radio a few times.

Right, but I'm wondering what the reason behind region-specific releases is.

I think they played it here in So Cal too. Back when ABH was released My Mom said she heard some slow Evanescence song that wasnt My Immortal.

The Official single only happened in Europe.

But unofficial singles happened all over.
