Monty Python [TV and MOVIES]

I searched, and lo and behold, I did not find a Monty Python thread. How utterly sad. Well there is one now! My favorite movie of theirs is Monty Python and the Holy Grail, but the TV show was awesome too.

Heck yeah. My favorite scene is the Killer Rabbit scene. "1,2,5!" "3, Sir!" "3!"

I want the DVD too, but I only have the VHS. But I've heard the DVD kicks ass and that the special features have Japanese subtitles and all sorts of random things.

If you play any of the DiscWorld games (dunno if anybody does, I like them due to my liking of the books) they have Monty Python refrences in them heh ^^; (not to mentiong the VO's are done by the MP cast)

"Always Look On The Bright Side Of Life" performed by Eric Idol in Life Of Brian is just so cool lol ^^;

Are there only 3 movies? Meaning Of Life, Holy Grail and Life Of Brain? That's it right? o0;

Got to admitt the Parrot Sketch is the best in the series ^^;;

one of my friends was telling me how Blizzard's 'Fallout 2' has a few references to them. in a random encounter you even meet them, complete with a few people saying "click clack.. click clack.." (no coconuts this time). you can find and use the holy hand grenade. and in another random encounter, you have to cross the bridge of death. the guy askes you 3 questions, that last one refering to how certian stats in the game work. if you answer with a question, he dies.
i dont think you get to fight the rabbit though..

Absolutly love monty python, brilliant. And much cleverer than it initially appears (although you have to be either middle aged or quite knowlegdeable about past politcis and things to get alot of references) in flying circus. Some episodes are better than others, I really love the one with "The argument" sketch.

There are 3 films yes. Life of brian is the best one in my opinion (LOL, the stoneing and when brian is writing graffeti on the wall are hilarious).
