She is in absolute LOVE with jonathan davis from korn and loves that band to pieces, she doesnt want jewellery cos she doesnt wear it unless its a very wierd piece of jewellery. Well you could got to the official KoRn shop Here (http://stores.musictoday.com/store/default.asp?band_id=77)
Or maybe hot topic might have something she would like. None of us really know what your friend is like so it's sorta up to you to find the perfect present. Good luck!

I do not know how creative you are. But you could always make her something. My best friend one year made a scrap book for me. Maybe you could make something involving Korn. It's definetly something she would remember.

Well, here's a suggestion, but it only works if you don't know too much about Korn. I like to write stories and one day I was bored so I made up a silly plot for Sailor Moon for my best friend. She was obssessed with that show and I knew nothing about it, except for the names of the characters and general relationships between them. She LOVED the mini-story. So maybe, if you don't know much about korn, but just general stuff, you could try making up a song that mimics their style, or a story about them, or try singing a song of theirs for her (even if you have a terrible voice or a good one, it doesnt matter). I am sure she will love anything you get her because it came from you. :D

You could always check out some of the shops in the city. Off Ya Tree (in the Queen St Mall) is a good place to start - not only does it have band merch, it also has unusual and wierd items of jewelry. Rave also might be good to check out. :)

Go for something sentimental. Something that you put thought into, it doesn't have to cost a whole heap, but just something that will be special to her. For my 18th 5 of my friends bought one of those photoframes that you can write stuff on the outside. They all wrote little messages to me, and to be honest, out of all the presents I got, I valued that one the most. Maybe buy her one of them and write to lyrics to her favorite Korn song on it? Or go to their website and email them and ask them to send her a message for her birthday through email or something? I don't know how much time you have.. so hope that helps anyways!! =)

Goodluck!

yeh we go shopping in all those stores every 2 weeks or so. I mite take her in and see if she finds sumthing she really likes.....then i will just keep it in mind. The thing that sucks about those stores tho is they never get new merch regulary!

Things that i've done for people and gotten that I/ the person really liked:

A mixtape of her favorite songs.
A swim bag that was discontinued, that, was, well... big. that was a really sentamental present- because we all loved the swim bag- and we'd thought we'd never see a new one again... so, yeah...
A trip to Mexico (somehow- i don't think that's an option for you!)

Maybe do a mixtape of rare korn songs, and korn coves (like thoughtless) that way, she might not have all the songs- but it still involves Korn!

Gag gifts are always fun :)

Depending on her personality, maybe you can get her something funny and then an actual present. You're 18 as well so you would have no problems going to an erotic store and picking out something silly like....edible chocolate body paint or a little whip, etc.

For the actual present you already mentioned Korn, so this one should not be much trouble, however keep in mind that if others know of her liking for Jonathan Davis, then they may be planning to get her something similar. Try to remember what her other friends have given her in past birthdays, more than likely they've kept the presents along the same lines or consistent with what they have given her before ( my best friend is like that...for two years straight I got diaries and now I get make-up).

So! To sum this up.... if she's a fun girl with an equally fun personality...get her a gag gift and an actual present :)

Pay for her to get KoRn (or something related to it) Tattooed on her somewhere?

(maybe not 'KoRn' because that's just a bit to permanent...But maybe some cool art from one of their album covers, or a cool part of their lyrics that she likes or something?)

It's really hard to "forget" something that's been permanently stained into your flesh with needles...
