Finally, Evanescence is coming back to Orlando. I can't wait to see them for the second time. They sold out the Hard Rock Live last time now they will get to sell out the TD Waterhouse Centre. I can't wait to see Seether. I saw Three Days Grace at Earthday Birthday 11 and they were really good. Should be an awsome show. Anybody know how much tickets are going to be?

$35 isn't bad at all considering tickets to last year's Hard Rock Live Show were around $25 and Revis was the only band with them. I would pay that for just Evanescence and Seether.

After last Sunday's show in Clearwater, all I have to say about TD Waterhouse is....
OMFG IT HAS AIR CONDITIONING!!!!
And hopefully there won't be any more of the "meet and greet petting zoo" behind the chain link fences.
Just waiting for tickets to go on sale June 5th!

Heh. No, you're not a postwhore. 7:00, huh? I hope we won't have to wait a looong time for Ev to come out. I can sit through Seether because I like some of their songs (not to mention Amy sings in one of them) but I only know one song from Three Days Grace. I hope it won't be like the first concert... the opening bands were good but knowing that Ev was there drove me crazy and I just wanted Ev to start their performance.

I've been to several concerts where there are two or three bands prior to EV performing...
It can be a very long wait if the bands suck. Hell, it can be long even if they don't!
But these bands do not suck this time! We just have to deal with the setup times between acts.
Breaking Benjamin is awesome, they sound a little like Tool or Perfect Circle.
You should go listen to some of their stuff on the net.
The same with Three Days Grace, they are really energetic!
I just wish it were Smile Empty Soul or Element Eighty...
Those are fairly new bands also, but they kick ass!
This will be a great concert because none of the bands suck.
I have had to suffer through bands like "Skrape" and "Julianna Theory" in prior EV concerts, so this will be HEAVEN!

I wish Element Eighty was playing this concert too. I saw them last month at Earthday Birthday. There were really good. Smile Empty Soul and Three Days Grace were also at that show and were good. I would have no problem with any of those bands if they played with Ev.

I think it depends on who is performing. The floor for Evanescence is standing room only but I think it depends on the artist and how the stage is setup.

You can do both....
There is the main floor and there are also LOTS of seats.
I think the ticket price reflects your choice also.
On Ticketmaster there are two prices listed:
$29.75 and $35.00.
One will probably be general admission (floor) and the other will be assigned seating.
Not sure which one will be which price as of yet, but you will see when you go to purchase your ticket.
I got excited after hearing this because I wasn't able to drive up to the May 16th gig. I probably will be able to go to this Orlando one but since Ev are playing in Sunrise, which is only minutes away from me the day before (July 26th), I might not even have to, but we'll see.

Just a little tidbit of info I learned today, and to also keep this thread alive since the concert is two months away!
The $35.00 tickets are for the floor (general admission).
Funny how they charge you more to stand for 5 hours, huh?
The $29.75 tickets are for "reserved" seating, as the recording stated.
Now my question is, what's to keep you from purchasing a cheaper ticket and still going down to the floor??
I know in Pensacola they had two different lines...one for GA and one for seats, and they issued different color arm bands.
Not sure how they will do it at TD Waterhouse.
I'm not too sure about the "parking garage" thingy that ticketmaster has tickets for.
It says that it opens 2 hours before the box office opens, which simply would not be early enough for me.
I would want to be there a little sooner.
JW918

I think that parking garage is the closest to the arena. Parking is normally only $5 everywhere else. I think I would rather walk a little further and save my money for something better like a T-Shirt.

That's what I thought. They charge you $8 for shipping and they don't even ship them until 2 weeks prior to the show. I'll wait and go through Tickmaster. That way I will have my tickets in a couple of weeks and save my $8. I seriously doubt floor tickets would sell out during the presale anyway.

I guess it also depends on how many tickets you are purchasing...
If you just purchase one, the $8 seems kind of high...but they don't charge you $8 for each ticket.
I purchased more than one so it wasn't that bad.
Through Ticketmaster it would only be a $7 total difference for me, that is IF they are only charging a $5.50 service fee...
I've seen Ticketmaster charging up to $7.50 lately for service fees, then taxes and other crap.
And they said that the pre-sale tickets would "probably" come sooner, not necessarily 2 weeks before the show.
I think they will go ahead and mail most of them, because ticketsmaster says the same thing.
Hope the floor doesn't sell out on ya!

*hopefully* in Orlando, i'm actually meant to be flying home from Orlando on July 22nd, but I'm hoping to change my return flight so i can hang out in downtown Orlando for a week and go to the gig. It all depends on BA letting me change my flight without charging me and arm and a leg for it

I did it mainly becuase I wanted to see how this works compared to Ticketmaster but your info did help. Considering the way ticketmaster likes to charge various fees (some of which I know they have no control over) this could end up being a decent alternative

Tickets go on sale this Saturday morning at 10 am. If you are not in Florida your best bet is through Ticketmaster.com. The show is going to be at the TD Waterhouse Centre, which is a large venue that holds around 18,000. I doubt it will sell out right away, but (Im thinking it will sell out at some point) if you want to gaurantee floor tickets then I would ge them ASAP.
As for why you should go. 1. it's Evanescence and 2. I went to the show at the Hard Rock Live last year and it was one of, if not the best concert I have ever been to. That Hard Rock show sold out fairly quickly too. Evanescence is easily worth every penny by themselves, and when you add Seether, Three Days Grace, and Breaking Benjamin you can't lose.
Hope this helps.

Well, I don't know for SURE about the cameras...but I'm like 99% sure.
The only one out of 5 I've been to that allowed cameras was Clearwater,
and I found that to be pretty strange when it didn't say NO CAMERAS ALLOWED.
Who knows, maybe we'll get lucky and they will allow, but I am so sure they won't.
And yes, it would be really cool if we could all stand together, in the front row!

yeah, that is one of my biggest questions....
what is the difference between the tickets?
if i get a floor ticket, does that mean i can go anywhere in the open floor.... or is it in sections like E-Unit described?
.....meaning, what kinda ticket should i get? hehe

I believe the floor is wide open. You should be able to stand wherever you want. The layout on Ticketmaster.com is just a general layout. I think the sections are for concerts that actually have chairs on the floor.

I think what Raynz is referring to is getting "SPEWWED" upon...not hosed!
At the indoor venues, there are no hoses.
But, the band members will take big drinks of water then SPEW out into the crowd.
At the Pompano Beach show, some of Amy's spew went into my mouth...it was heavenly! I felt somewhat "connected" to her after that...wow! :D
They will also take a drink from their water bottles and sling the rest of the bottle onto the crowd...either way, it's GREAT being up front!

Well, as of right now, I'm not going to the Orlando concert. My sister (who would be my ride there) can't take the day off of work to take me. :(
I was in the front row towards the center. I hope you can find a ride to the orlando show. It should be awesome. Good luck

That's awesome!! I still haven't bought tickets yet. :( My sister is too scared to ask her boss if she can take the day off (the funny thing is that her boss is our cousin). I checked ticketmaster.com today though and they still have floor tickets so I hope they won't sell out. I'll feel better if I just buy the tickets even though I'm not sure if I can go. The floor at the TD Waterhouse is pretty big so you shouldn't have any problems if you get them in the next week or so. I think it would be really cool if this show sells out. 17,000 plus Ev. fans in the same place would rock.

On Ticketmaster it says they don't allow anything, so apparantly it's going to be a Mission:Impossible to get a camera in. Of course, that won't stop a feeble attempt! :D It's too bad the band couldn't set the rules, I'm sure THEY would let us have cameras. ;)

Does anyone know the order of the bands performing? Wow...that's beautiful. :p
I'm guessing that will be the order. I downloaded some stuff from BB and 3daysG and tehy aren't bad. BB is the lesser of the two, and seem to be a band witjout a clear identity of what they want to sound like. Sometimes they sound like Tool, sometimes Nirvana, sometimes they sound unique. Tehy have a new cd coming though, and the single is awesome. Hopefully they've matured into their own.
3daysG actually have a really good cd. I was surprised. I'm looking forward to them, I think they'll put on a good show. The quality of the bands are amazing on this concert, and hopefully they will all be in top form!

Yea, I really like Breaking Benjamin's sound...they have a wide range of songs, from heavy to slower and darker.
On their first CD (Saturate) there is a song called "Water" which has a great *grinding* beat to it,
not to mention "Polyamorous" which is also a killer song!
And on their new CD (We Are Not Alone) there is song called "Believe" in which Ben (lead singer) does some awesome screaming!
I think they are going to be great to see live, I can't wait!!!

Actually, I'm thinking the lineup might be this:
Breaking Benjamin
Seether
Three Days Grace
Evanescence
While on EvBoard it seems like Seether is the second headliner, over all Three Days Grace has a much larger fan base. Even in Canada, it was Seether, Finger Eleven then Ev.
We will find out soon enough though :)

ouch...that was harsh E...but, in your opinion, possibly. I'm really stoked to be going period, and I find that if bands are good at all, they are generally awesome live. Everything sounds better whne they are playing in front of you, and that's why people buy cd's of bands they only marginally like when they go to concert, because they got caught up in the moment. I'm going to give them all a chance, and hope they suprise me...except ev, which can do no wrong in my book! :D

When I went to the Clearwater concert, I had to to stand for 11 hours in the heat. It was horrible. When the opening bands went on (Klik and Collective Soul), I just got so annoyed because I didn't know any of their songs and no one around me was moving. Everyone was tired and hot. We just wanted Ev to come on stage. Now, that was in May. The Orlando concert is in July-probably the hottest month of the year in Florida. It's going to suck even more this time. I listened to some songs from Breaking Benjamin and I don't like them. Three Days Grace is ok. I only know one song from them. As for Seether and Ev, they're the bands I'm going to the show to see. If the lineup is indeed how Jes said it's going to be, I think it'll suck if Seether performs second and TDG performs third. I'll go from feeling really pumped up (from Seether) to feeling "blah" (because of TDG). I'm going to give these bands a chance but I think it'll be like the Clearwater concert... and I'm not too happy about that.

First of all, yes...it will be hot like Hades...but only while you're in line.
Once inside the air conditioning should relieve that.
I was at the Clearwater show also, and it was almost unbearably hot.
But I thought Klik was pretty good, I love to hear new bands.
Collective Soul? Hell, they've been around forever, and it was great to see that they still sounded so awesome in a live performance.
I don't feel the same way you do about Breaking Benjamin and Three Days Grace, I think they are awesome and have some GREAT songs!
There could have been MUCH worse opening bands, I think this should be an awesome show.
And I still think that Seether will be playing right before EV.
I don't think this will be ANYTHING like the Clearwater concert.
It's indoors, it's air conditioned, and the bands ROCK! :D <<< excited!

I think the order will be Breaking Benjamin, 3 Days Grace, Seether, and Evanescence. Over on the Seether boards Shaun said they would get about 45 minutes for their set on this tour. I don't think they would get that much time if they were playing before 3 Days Grace.
I personally think that Breaking Benjamin will be a great live band. I bought their new CD today and it is really good. Besides it was only $7 so I can't complain. As for 3 Days Grace, I saw them a couple months ago and they have a really good live show. I think you will be surprised if you haven't seen them before. Seether, I haven't seen but am really looking foward to finally seeing them live. Of course, like it was said earlier, Evanescence can do no wrong so I don't need to ellaborate on them.

lol. actually i think the line-up will be Breaking Benjamin, Three Days Grace, Seether, Evanescence. Breaking Benjamin, though they have a few records out now, still don't have enough push to put them closer to the headliner. Three Days grace, though selling well, i don't think have the strength on this tour. Also, it was mentioned about finger eleven and three days grace with seether and ev in canada before...you have to remember that finger eleven and three days grace are also from canada so they have a much larger fan base. it's like in canana Our Lady peace can sell out football stadiums, but down here in the states they can only do theatre tours. my opinion on Three Days Grace though..I saw them at the zeta bonzai in april in wpb, fl...yea, they may have been in the pocket playignwise, but you can't really distinguish one song from the other... Finger Eleven also played this show...and got dicked with a short 20 min. set. that sucked.

I think it depends on where I get a spot. if I'm relatively close to the stage, don't want to move. But if I can't make it early, I might go check that out.

*sigh* I remember they played Haunted first at the Clearwater show. It was awesome. I get chills whenever I hear the the beginning of the song.

Has anyone heard anything in regards to the meet & greet's at some of the other shows that have already taken place? Have they all been following Seether's set or has it varied from show to show?

People at the Seether board have said that it's AFTER Seether's set. I don't think it varies.

Yep, floor appears to be sold out! WOO HOO!
Gonna be a crush-fest down there, oh yea!
OK...everyone with floor tickets...
PLEASE...shower before coming to the show, put on clean clothes and don't forget the DEODORANT! :D
A little cologne or perfume might be a nice touch too...
Wow, I can't believe it's only five days away!
Five days until EV concert number six for me!!! I'm so excited!!!
I guess it's time to start getting my maps ready and plotting my course for the road trip.
Every time I get on the damn Florida Turnpike I always take the wrong exit...sheesh.

I was wondering that too. Being that it's sold out, I'm guessing we should get there early, but is 10:00 too early?
and, I'm not sure what I'm wearing either. I should know for sure by this weekend. Going to go look around.
I don't think I've been this excited since....ever! :D

10:00 am is really early. For those who have never been to the TD Waterhouse Centre, keep this in mind. The doors into the venue are up a set of stairs. The stairs are behind a barricade. They don't let you though those barricades till around 5:45. You then climb the stairs and wait until the doors open at 6. I think that if you are there around 4pm you should have no trouble getting a good spot on the floor.

No matter how early you get there, you will find people ahead of you.
That has been my experience any way. There are some that camp out, but some venues don't allow that.
Considering that it's July in Florida, I might have to sacrafice a few positions and get there a little later than I normally would.
It's going to be frikkin hot in that line, crazy hot.
And....since it's going to be so hot, I am leaving my black EV shirt at home this time.
I learned my lesson from the Clearwater show...I felt like I was being cooked in an electric blanket.
The black shirt was just drawing in the heat from the sun, and I was melting.
So this time...WHITE shirt for sure! I don't care what I look like, I'm not roasting this time!
I wish we could line up for the show in our vehicles, and when they open the gate,
just lock the doors and go on in. That would be awesome.

Ok. I don't have my tickets in front of me right now so I need some help. The doors open at 6, right? What time does the actual concert start??
My sister is taking me to the concert and neither of us have been to Orlando so we're going to leave my house really early. At the Clearwater concert, we left the house at 9. We got there at around 10:30 and the gates didn't open until 3:30 so we were standing in the heat (and I was wearing a black shirt) for 5 hours (plus the two hours we had to wait for the actual concert to begin) and it was horrible. At the Orlando show, we're going to leave my house even earlier than the Clearwater concert which means we'll be standing in the heat for even longer. I hope it won't be extremely hot.

...actually, orlando(central fl) is alot hotter then sunrise(south fl) because it's nowhere near the ocean so theres no breeze to kind of cool things down. it's actually going to be hot as hell there. i used to go to orlando at least five times a year to see my grand parents, plus i used to live there when i was younger, so i'm used to the weather there. if the ac in my car goes however, i will be pissed.

LOL!
Yeah, I feel you on that! I'm still deabting when to get there to stand in line. Despite everyone saying that getting there really earlier won't help because of the stairs and the barricade and all, I would rather be standing in line in the front, REALLY happy, then standing towards the middle pretty damn happy. ;)
By the way, I got a hat airbrushed with "Evanescence" on it, so, I'll more likely than not be wearing that, plus a red shirt, and black shorts. :D
Trust me, I'm hard to miss. :p

Doors open at 6:00 PM with the concert itself starting at 7:00 PM. The times that I have gone to the TD Waterhouse it has taken about 10-15 minutes to get inside so you will have about 45 minutes or so to get any food, merchandise, and then get your spot on the floor. The one thing I have noticed about concerts in Orlando is that alot of people show up after the show has started so I think that if you are there by 6 you should have no trouble getting a good spot on the floor. I think my friends and I are going to leave for the show around 4:00 or so just to try and beat rush hour traffic.
On a side note, for anybody that hasn't been to the TD Waterhouse, if your thinking about buying the $10 parking from ticketmaster, dont waste your money. There is plenty of parking garages and lots to park in and they only cost $5.

Ok. I came on to Evboard real quick so I can post this. My sister and I are getting ready right now. We're going to go out for breakfast and then we're going to Walmart to pick up a few bottles of water. Then we're going to drive to Orlando. It takes two hours to get there from where we live. We know we'll get there early but we've never been to Orlando so we want to leave my house early in case we get lost (Mapquest's directions aren't always correct). If we have time once we get there, we're going out for lunch too.
Like I said in another post, if you guys see me, be sure to come up to me and say hi. I'll be wearing a green shirt that says "I'm With the Band" on it, jeans, and a green bracelet with stars on it. My hair will be down.
I must admit, last night I wasn't really excited to go but now I'm really excited. :D So, I'll see you all there later on tonight. ;)

I'm pretty sure Amy will be at the meet and greet with Shaun.
And besides, the meet and greet is at 6:30, the gates open at 6:00.

Hi. Lurker popping up. I'm going to be at the concert too later tonight. Anyone mind my hanging out with them? I'm going by myself because all my friends are on vacation *grumbles*
About two months ago I went to see Blink 182 at TD waterhouse, and they did a couple things you guys should be aware of. This could of been just for the Blink 182 concert but I don't know:
They split you up in two lines, one for floor, and one for seats.
They search you in the lines while you wait. They didn't allow any chains, or anything hanging off of you. They said something about a health hazard.
They'll give everyone on the floor a wrist band, and you have to hold onto your ticket if you want to go back and forth for refreshments.
They have AC inside, but you don't really notice it in the pit.
Sorry if some of this stuff has been repeated before. ^^"
Anyway, this will be my 2nd Ev. Concert. I went to the one in Popano Beach last year *I almost died from the heat*, and I'm driving all the way from the Jacksonville area. I'll be in a pattern top, mainly red, and a black skirt with boots.

All right I just got home from the concert. What an amazing show. I went to the Seether meet & greet which was really cool. The cool thing was that there was a mix up with the whole meet & greet. The Wind-UP rep thought we were there for a meet and greet with Evanescence and not Seether. We ended up getting to do a meet & greet with Evanescence and Seether which was really cool. Both bands were awesome and seemed excited to meet there fans. They treated as if they had known you for years. Unfortunatley because of the confusion we only got to see Breaking Benjamin play "So Cold" (the only downside to the night) although the room the meet and greet was held was right behind the stage so we heard the whole set. Three Days Grace were also good. The night however belonged to Seether and Evanescence. Both bands had awsome sets and the energy was amazing. How Amy does it night after night is unbelievable simply because of the energy she has on stage. Overall it was another amazing show by Evanescence. Hope they come back soon. On a side note, Vampire, it was cool meeting you and I hope you enjoyed the show as much as I did.

ohhh, what fun this concert was. all the bands were fucking awesome, but the night definately did belong to Eva, and seether to a slightly lesser extent..
not to be disregarded, BB and 3DG were pretty damn awesome themselves definately crowd pleasing.... they gave a real good performance
it was definately a perfect concert to be my first one.... very pleased indeed.
especially since Eva played Farther Away.... was absolutely amazing to hear that live, as well as Thoughtless.... pure bliss i tell ya.

Wow, a truly amazing show! The sound was absolutely perfect, everything was mixed just right!
Amy's voice was stronger than ever, she really nailed some high notes.
For the first time I could hear Terry really cranking out some serious guitar,
ahhh...that was awesome! He has such a unique, metal sound.
I personally think all the bands kicked ass. Like JW said, we didn't get to see BB due to the meet and greet, but we heard them and they sounded great.
Three Days Grace rocked, they really had an energy packed set! I was impressed with their live performance.
Seether, oh man, what a show. Truly kick ass! Shaun let out some wicked screams!
And EV put on the best show I have seen in my five times seeing them.
Rocky is learning some new shit something, he is so awesome! His "double-bassing kicks ass!
Amy was just perfect, as always.
The meet greet, as JW said, was a rare experience. Amy is so gorgeous, and she had no makeup on...she is simply beautiful!
I had some picture for the band to sign from way back at the New Orleans show in May 2003.
Amy looked at her picture that was taken with my arm around her and she said, "Wow, that's when I really dressed in some funky stuff"...or something to that effect...haha!
And the Seether meet and greet was truly special, there were only a few of us there and the band was so cool, they treated us like true friends.
Dale (bass player) signed my Disclaimer II cover "Great name bro!" because my name is Dale also...yea, we connected...haha!
They let us take a bunch of pictures of them and let us pose with them while the Wind-up rep took pics. I will post some when I get them developed.
Well that's it for now, will post more later as the memories come to me.
Oh yea, it was frikkin hot and humid outside, then it rained like a tropical storm, then again, hot as hell.
But we didn't have to stand in that hot ass line cause we waited around the side at the VIP door for the meet and greet...lots of shade..woo hoo!
Oh yea, one more thing...met several EV boarders!
JW918, super cool dude..it was great meeting you! And axeslingerou812, you are crazy man! Then there was _E-Unit_...what a cutie! I think I met more EV boarders, but my memory is failing me.
There was the girl in the black and pink outfit that is a board member but can't post for some reason, she knows all of us...haha!
She said, "you're Vampire aren't you?" That was cool. Got a picture of her too, will post it maybe if I can find out if she don't mind.
Later for now, I got to go take a breath.

And here's a few I took while we waited for the band to come out after the show.
By the way, they never came out, only Terry and Will and only Terry stopped to sign a few things.
They said Amy had a "rough night" or something like that...not sure what that was about.
I've been to five EV concerts and this is the first time they haven't come out
to meet the fans after the show. Really weird...oh well! Thank goodness for the meet and greet! :D
The only way we caught Terry was because him and Will left on foot taking some girls

I was going to come on to Evboard last night after the concert but I got home at 4:30 in the morning and I was so tired. So..... here's my review!!
My sister and I left my house at around 8:30. We went to Walmart before we started driving to Orlando to get a few bottles of water (They really came in handy). We arrived at the TD Waterhouse Centre at around 11:00. By the time we got there, there were already two groups of people and a girl sitting by herself. We sat next to the girl that was sitting by herself and she asked me if I'm from Evboard and I said yes. She asked me if I'm E-Unit and I'm like "Yeah!! Who are you?". She said that her username is Venus but she can't post because there's something wrong with her account but she still lurks. We started talking about the board and Evanescence. We were sitting on a black fountain thing and it was extremely hot... like in the late 80s, early 90s (I'm guessing). My sister, Venus, and I took a walk around the arena and we saw the tour buses so we waited there for a few minutes just to see if we could see anyone. Then we walked to the other side of the arena (because there are two entrances) because we wanted to see how many people were waiting on the other side. I felt soo dizzy and all I could see were white dots so I looked for a spot near the front of the entrance with shade and we all sat down. I was fine after that.
Pretty soon more and more people came. We were third in line and we were really happy about it. Eventually, I met Austin (axeslinger). I also met a guy and a girl that went to the Sunrise concert. We talked about Evanescence, Evboard (the girl has a username on Evboard but she doesn't post), and the Sunrise concert. I also met two other girls that I talked to for a while (one was there just to see BJ so we didn't have much in common). We also became friendly with the two groups that were sitting in line in front of us. I met Dale (Vampire) too. They are all really cool people.
We were all sitting in line when a lady told us that they're holding a meet and greet for Evanescence so a few of us got up to go check things out. It turned out that only one person would win and you have to be at least 18 years old. I was ok with not being able to sign up because I knew that after the concert, I would be able to meet the band.
Then... it started raining. I'm not sure if any of you know about the rain in Florida. When it rains, it pours. And the rain was dirty. I looked at my pants and there was dirt all over them. I was so peeved. Eventually, they told us that we could stand under the hangover at the front of the entrance. After a few minutes, a guy told us that at 5:30, they were going to have to send us back down to the barricades. So EVERYONE that was behind my whole group in line, ran down to the front of the line at the barricades. My whole group was so pissed. Another guy came out and told us to get back in line but we told him that we were first in line and it wasn't fair that we have to go to the back of the line. Eventually, after fights with the crowd, we got to stand first in line... AND they let my group stand in front of the entrance of the arena a few minutes before they let the people behind us in. AND they let our side (there are two entrances) go in one minute before they open the doors for the other side. I actually looked around before we went in and I noticed that there were a lot of people in line... like they were crowding the whole street. I knew that a lot of people were going to be there.
Anywho, they opened the doors for us. My group was the first to make it to the stage. Everyone made a line at the front row but my sister, two of the boys I was with, and I decided to stand in the second row. I wanted to be in the center. I kept looking back at the floor every few minutes and I kept thinking "It's so empty. I thought the floor was sold out". A few minutes before BJ went on, I looked around again and sure enough, the floor was full of people. AND there were a lot of people in the seats. We were so loud too. That's honestly the best crowd I've ever seen. Oh and Rocky came out before the show started. My group screamed for him and he did the \m/ thing. He's so cute. ;)
Ok. Now for the bands. BREAKING BENJAMIN. I thought they were ok. Some of their songs were pretty good. The lead singer is cute too. ;) The crowd was sooo loud. I could hardly hear myself screaming. They threw some stuff into the audience and Austin caught a drumstick. Woo hoo!!
THREE DAYS GRACE. I didn't know it but I actually knew two songs from TDG-I Hate Everything About You and Just Like You. They were pretty good. Again, the lead singer is hotttt. One of the guitarists (the one with a mohawk) was going crazy with his guitar. The girl and boy that were at Sunrise told me that at Sunrise, he broke so many strings. He only broke one last night but it was still really entertaining watching him play. The other guitarist seemed so out of breath. I thought he was going to die. Again, the crowd was extremely loud especially during I Hate Everything About You. They were actually really good. I was surprised.
Next, SEETHER. Ok. Let me explain something to you all. During BJ and TDG, I was extremely hot but no one was bothering me. Instead of repeating this part throughout the rest of my review, I'll just say it all now. During Seether, about five people got behind my sister and I and they pushed SO hard that I thought I was going to cry. Most of the time, either this one girl or the guy she was with, had their elbows into my back. I was in so much pain. I kept yelling at them to stop. IT'S NOT LIKE THEY WERE GOING TO GO ANYWHERE!! Ya so it was a complete mess. It was so hard for me to enjoy Seether. They pushed even harder during Evanescence but I was like HELL NO. They're NOT going to ruin this for me. Anywho, Seether was good. At one point, Venus pointed to the side of the stage and I could see John and Amy's forehead. Amy was rocking out so hard when Seether was up. It was so cute. Then, they played Broken. The crowd went completely nuts. I must admit, I didn't think they sounded too good together. Something was up with Amy's mic. I thought she sounded too high. Even after the song ended and she said "I'll see you all later", she sounded... different. After a few more songs, Seether was done. I'll have to admit that out of all the bands that performed, I liked Seether's performance the least. I don't know whether it was because I couldn't enjoy it because the people behind me were pushing or if it was because I just didn't like it.
Then... EVANESCENCE. I'm not going to go into this with a lot of details because I know you all have either been to an Ev concert or you've seen them on T.V. NO WORDS CAN EXPLAIN HOW AMAZING EVANESCENCE WAS. God they were incredible. It was so much better then the Clearwater concert. Before Everybody's Fool, Amy said "My family from Florida is here." and she started naming her family members and then she said "Oh. Forget it. This is our next single" and then they performed EF. I thought that was funny. Dude. Amy was so close to me. It was scary. Whenever she would look to the back of the crowd, her eyes creeped me out. She actually looked at me twice and I couldn't help but smile. I got a few really good pictures (I hope) of her when she was up close and a few of the boys too. You could really tell that they were having fun and they loved the crowd. Amy sat down to play at the piano and I saw her open a bottle of water and then I think I was looking at John when something hit my head. A few people around me kept staring at me and I said "What the hell was that?". One of the guys I was with, bent down and picked up a water bottle cap and I said "Who threw that at me?" and Venus told me Amy threw it at me. So I now have Amy's bottle cap. Woo hoo!! :p I know when they do the encore, they play Zero first and then Whisper and I was really looking forward to hearing Zero but they didn't play it. Later, we found out that they couldn't play it because they had an 11 o'clock curfew so they didn't have enough time to do it. But like I said, they were sooo amazing. I can't wait until they come back to Florida!!
After the show, we lined up near the tour buses. I wanted to get a poster for the band to sign but they wouldn't let us in the building where the merch stand was. I didn't really care though. I was going to get them to sign my shirt. There were a lot of people waiting near the tour buses but at the end, only about 15 people were there. You guys, we waited for THREE HOURS for the band to come out. They usually come out after one hour, right? After about 2 hours and 45 minutes, Terry came out. He said "You're all still out here? I bet you're all waiting for Amy, huh?" and a few of us said that we're waiting for all of the band members to come out. Someone asked him if he could sign stuff for us and he said that he'd be back in a minute. When he came back, he signed a few things. He signed my shirt too!! I was so happy. Someone had a poster (the one with the red background) and he saw the picture of himself and he said "Wow. That's a gay picture." It was soo funny. One guy had a Fallen booklet and he said that Ben had signed it at the last concert he went to and Terry said "I like Ben." and he put a heart around Ben's signature. I don't know whether or not he was being sarcastic though. Someone asked us when they were going to start recording the next album and he said next month. He was explaining how some of the harder songs are going to be more "mellow". Terry's so nice!! Someone asked him where Amy was and he said "Uh... she's had a rough night". We were thinking that since her family was there, she was probably hanging out with them since this was (I'm guessing) their last night together before they go on the road again. Oh and after Terry left, my sister and Austin said that Will was with them but he just walked away when Terry was signing stuff for us. I was a little upset that I didn't get to meet him.
So like I said, we were waiting for three hours for more of the band members to come out. The security guy that was standing next to us kept talking on his radio thing and someone said on the radio, "Amy can't even walk straight". I KNEW she was drunk. I thought it was really funny. We thought that maybe the rest of the guys would come out so we kept waiting. We saw the last two tour buses sitting in the parking lot. I knew they were Evanescence's tour buses. They just left. Without saying anything. I'm not that upset today but I was extremely upset last night. I wasn't upset that Amy was drunk. I wasn't upset that Amy didn't come out. I wasn't upset that the rest of the guys didn't come out. I was upset that we were standing there for three hours and they didn't know we were there and they just left without saying anything. I'm sooo happy that I met Terry though. He's so cool. I'm just hoping that I can eventually meet the rest of the band someday.
When I get my pictures developed, I'll post them here. Hopefully, they came out ok. I'll take pictures of my bottle cap and my shirt later on. Oh and Amy was wearing a black tank top with a pink and black skirt... It's kinda hard for me to explain her whole outfit so you'll just have to wait until someone posts pictures from the show.
[EDIT]First of all, thanks a bunch for the pictures Vampire!! :) I was right behind those people in the "The first ones in line" picture. And in the "The line begins to grow picture", I was sitting right next to the girl in the green shirt that's sitting on the floor.
Here are two pics that I just took with my digital camera. The first one is a pic of the bottle cap that Amy threw at me. The second pic is of my shirt that was signed by Terry.

I've heard that drunk story one too many times. I'm kinda surprised John didn't come out he's usually down for the fans and signing stuff. I know they can't do it all the time but I just hope they don't forget the fans and it doesnt become a case where we have to fight and sell our souls for meet and greet passes. I didn't see them at Jones Beach either but people did see them in Philly so who knows. It's all about luck I guess.

I'm guessing that they didn't come out because they didn't know we were there. The only reason why Terry came near us is because he had to walk to a building (I think it was a store) that was near us. He told us that he didn't know we were there. One of the guys that Terry was with kept telling him to hurry up because they had to go. I'm sure that if Terry told the rest of the band members that we were there, they didn't come over to us because they didn't have enough time.
Like I said, I'm not upset that I didn't get to meet them. I'm not upset about that at all. Meeting Terry was great. I'm sure it's not Evanescence's fault either. I just wish someone would have told us that they weren't coming out in the beginning. I would've been absolutely fine with that.
