The only one in NC last year was the Tremont; horrible venue but Eva did the best they could with what looked like an old gas station or something.

oh. well im still gonna go see them my teacher gave me $20 today for selling the most pizza for our new fish tank.so im stickin that in my saveings for the concert:).how old do you have to be to get in by your self?

I am afraid that it isn't as simple as that. I suspect that there are legal loop holes to jump through and copious amounts of money to get Wind Up to allow a paid concert to be aired for free. Festivals overseas are an entirely different beast. I don't see this plan working. Sorry.

Verzon is both i mean mainly seating if your in the boxes and stuff but there is standing room and the lawn is both. 38 dollar tickets- VIP Boxes and Gold level *Up close to stage* and premier level. Im in gold level 5th row. lol. $33- lawn and premier level m,ost likely

The tickets arent on sale anymore.. they ended yesterday.

But you can still get tickets when they go on sale for real (the 11th according to the verizon website)! Probably they'll be a little more expensive, but I doubt that there are enough people on the e-team to have taken all the good seats.

I was at home mad as hell, because I knew they were playing and I couldn't see them. I was all set to go when the show was in April, but they had to cancel that. When they finally came in July the 2 people I was going with had already made plans for the beach so being the good friend I am, I told them I wouldn't go if they couldn't. Well, that and the fact that my car was being fixed so I couldn't get there. I just sat at home and listened to Amy being crazy on the radio and watched my Ev tape. It didn't turn out all bad, but would have been a lot better if I got to that show.

She and Ben went over to a local station around 4:30 or so back in July to do a little interview. I was the one who had to unlock and open the gate so that they could get their van out of the parking lot at the Tremont. Mind you that I do know work at the Tremont - I just somehow ended up with that job that afternoon; I then had to open it again when they returned.

For that I am now known as "the keeper of the gate."

Lucky you at least you got to see them in person or w/e b4 or after the concert. my mom wont let me stay outside the tourbus for an hour just to meet them. i swear by it she ruins almost everything she knows i want to do.

Yeah, Amy was on 106.5 before she got ready for the show. It was an awesome interview, because she was being really funny. They started talking about this bar in Little Rock that she went to and there was a drag queen doing BMTL. Amy was telling all of these different phrases she started using and even named them her "Amyisms". They were all hilarious! I even have it taped on a little cassette tape, but I have absolutely no idea how to get it online.

I don't have GREAT seats unfortunately! :( but, at least I'll get to see them in person!!, that's all that matters, right? :D I'll be sitting in Section 8. Like I said, not GREAT seats, but certainly not the worst. Plus, the way I look at it there ISN'T bad seats - Long as you're there getting to see Ev, ya know? ;) Anywho - I can't wait!!. I love Ev!, Seether, & Three Days Grace. Unfortunately I don't know much about Breaking Benjamin but I've looked them up online & been listening to some of their songs, just to get an idea...I'm always up to making new Ev friends!, & getting to meet you at the concert would be awesome!!. I checked this site a few days and read that a pre-sale had taken place. By this point, I figured I would be very far back. Nonetheless, I was at my Ticketmaster outlet at 10:00 AM on Friday morning. No line, no hassle... I missed the pre-sale and still nailed front row.

I am not trying to brag.... I am trying to show you the best path possible. I have bought tickets online, and have had the entire website break down. I have tried every way possible and I have found that finding that supermarket outside of town is the perfect place to get killer tickets. No lines.... no lottery system, no problems.

Yea I saw the commercial. :D i saw it at school actually. that was pretty cool. lol. yep 4 days to go!!

I highly suspect that that commerical is probably on local cable and simply is shown on the MTV channel.

I know i said i wouldnt talk in here untill the concert or end of it but i just wanted to let you know Ev is in the Charlotte Observer i assume becuase they were on charlotte.com (the website for the newspaper) so grab todays paper and look!

All of the Seether members are truly awesome guys!
They were so friendly and really showed that they appreciated their fans

The show last night was awesome! My seats were great, because I was center stage, 7th row. It was my first time seeing Ev live, and I can honestly say that they were best band I've ever seen. They had so much energy and Amy's voice was perfect. I absolutely loved the "Thoughtless" cover and "Breathe No More". I can't wait until they come back to Charlotte. I'll be first to buy tickets.

Breaking Benjamin, Three Days Grace, and Seether were also amazing. It was awesome seeing Seether and Amy perform Broken.

you are so cool.i had so much fun last night i think i was the most energetic kid in my sectioni was jumping and singing through out the whole concert.breaking benjimin put on a good show even though i barely got to see the lead singer because some idiot wouldnt sit down,but when evanescence came up i finaly told him to move.

I was in section 1, row 14. The whole thing was amazing! The tech difficulties were bad though. Other than that the show was excellent. The best show I've seen in my life!

yea i had like the best seats in the place we were right smack in front of the piano, omg Amy sounded perfect, definately the best performance ever!!!!!!! All the bands sounded great, but i think that Breaking Benjiman rocked, i went out and bought the cd the next day...lol, the lead singer Ben smiled at me :D I got something from all the bands!!!

All the bands did a great job, but what I was wondering was...Did anyone happen to take some pix???

I think I got 2 but I'm not sure how good they will be. The security guy was standing right at us about the whole time. Once in awhile he would go back, so I hurried and took some. They're definitely not going to be as good as Lower Country's. Thanks for putting those up LC. They are awesome!

OMG! That concert was amazing! I'm a poor little bastard, so all I could afford were lawn seats. Hell, i didn't even buy them, my brother-in-law did.

I sat on the rail center stage though. It was fun! I was really pissed when Breaking Bejamin and Three Days Grace were playing, because everyone on the lawn just sat there. GRR!!! That really sucked! I yelled at alot of people for that. TDG was AWESOME! They put on a hell of a show! Alot better then I thought it was going to be.

Then Seether came out, I get in the mosh pit that was formed in the center of the lawn, but security broke it up after the 3rd or 4th song. After that, I stood center stage on the rail and watched. Then Amy came out and did broken, I couldn't hear a damn thing cause everyone was screaming so loud. Then, I almost shit my pants when they did 'You Know Your Right'. That was amazing! Better then Nirvana anyday! (prepares to be killed).

Then Ev came out... once again, screaming clouded the air. But OMG!!! I've never seen anything more amazing in my life. That was the best thing ever. And when they did the encore, WHISPER! OMG!, it was so great. I feel like a noob now, but oh-well. All i have to say is that that concert was the best thing I have EVER seen in my entire life. I can't wait til they come to Charlotte again next year.

Best thing of all... I got to see my hero! Rocky! YEAH! :D

Amazing concert! Wish I could have seen some of yall there, that would have been cool. :)


p.s. sorry it took me so long to come and tell you all this.

i took a couple friends on a 3 hour trip to that concert. braved a massive storm to do it too. one of those that all you can see is the tail lights of the guy in front of you. finaly got there only to realize we were missing one of the tickets. after some moments of pure shock and fear, we found it and got in just as the 1st band was getting started.
before that, the only other rock concert i had ever been to was Meatloaf, and that was a few years ago. needless to say, i was pretty blown away. i remember when Seether startet playing Broken, suddenly the crowd woke up and got really excited because they knew Amy was comming.
i was kind of nervous at first that the trip wasnt going to be worth it, because the crowd was both thin and dull durring most of the opening acts. but as soon as Evanescence came out.. finaly the party got started :D . sat back row center, which was fine because i was having enough trouble hearing the music over the ringing in my ears as it was.
even the lighting was incredable. they had the back wall filled with highbeams that had all the dramatic affect of a bolt of lightning.

was i the only one laughing at the comercials next to the stage before the show? i just found it ironic that theyd run a cleche beer ad shortly before the band that created 'Everybody's Fool'

I am late on this but all I have to say I drove three hours to get their and I was so excited to finally she evanescence for the first time and it totaly rock I was on my feet doning the entire concert. I had a blast she played the piano like an angel, and I did not wanted it to end.

Yeah, i know there is! Cause I saw the camera flashes. But they didn't get good shots. Most of them were on the lawn and couldn't get a clear view. Sorry about your luck

I can't believe I haven't found this thread until now. Anyways I'm from China Grove, NC and I went to see then also. I just want to say great pics, and yes I was an awsome concert!! I was in section 2, row 2 and let me tell you it was so awsome. I feel like It wasn't real, only a dream. Anyways..just thought I'd post.
